The value of those has just nose dived. This year mine got me into all the games for an equivalent of about £13, now the same level would get me into 25 for £15 a game.

OK, just checked pricing compared to last season. I have a Silver season ticket and paid £300 in 'early bird' deal last season - £11.11 per game (27 games) 2011/2012 will be £330 for 25 games = £13.20 per game - a 19% increase Positives Direct Debit You can renew at the NIC box office (no surcharges) You can renew on-line (no surcharges) Wonder what the justification is for the large hike?

Why only 25 games? How many teams are there going to be next year?

Student concession now for those in full time education only. Used to be with valid NUS card. As a very mature student who is having to do a course part time as well as work guess I have to pay full price next season. Seems odd when Derby Uni one of the main sponsors are encouraging bite size part time courses.

And everyone was quick to laugh at Steelers when they announced their changes.

i would presume to keep the value of season tickets then match day ticket prices may also rise?!?! Because with that, you miss 1 or 2 games and your paying more per game than buying tickets individually.

The difference between ours and steelers mainly is that ragans increasing the price but also stated that the playing budget will be decreased - I'm thinking ours will stay the same.

Why only 25 games? How many teams are there going to be next year? It just won't cover all the games Ted. Might be pick and choose time for me, could just about price me out.

Same here Yotes, might have to bin some of the midweek games in that case; crazy rush to get there on time then a very late night by the time we get home (gone 11) and the little one has school the next day. This could lead to attendances dropping IMHO as there were a few times during our slump this season that i had to drag myself down and really only went because I'd already paid for my match ticket by having a season ticket. If the club are expecting season ticket holders to stump up for league games then the on-ice product needs to be spot on next season

Steelers would be the logical guess I've always said the Steelers should not include Panthers games, when choosing which arena games are not on the season ticket (there is very few because we can utilise IS,) but then people wouldn't be happy with that. Anyway, I'm amazed that your prices have gone up £30 (silver seating) and you've lost 2 games off the ticket. I mean we are in uproar over a £30 increase and we're actually getting a game more. For the first time in the last 5 seasons, our season ticket actually represents better value for money on a per game basis.

£30 more and 2 less games!!! So that's more like a £60 increase then! Not happy, especially if you can't choose the games you don't go to.

25 games on Ticket could mean a 9 team league + 1 challenge cup game.

just worked out that if you go for a gold ticket after 30th april add on your £15 surcharge, and it will cost you £17.40 per game, thats a whole 10p saving per game and you have to attend every single game. I hope match night tickets are not going up signifantly we already had a 50p rise due to VAT increase.

can't say i'm overly impressed by the £25 hike in prices for gold section and 2 less games.
they really should be announcing the league structure at the same time as they expect season ticket holders to renew. at least some detail on what we are paying for... we could renew tomorrow and end up with an announcment saying the league will drop to 4 teams and 2 imports. (i know thats extreme)
also i wonder if the Panthers can manage to get my address and wifes name correct this year!

Got to say that this price hike feels like a bit of a kick in the teeth to be honest. It's a big rise in percentage terms, especially for two less games.
Got a lot of thinking to do between now and April 30th.

It's always the same with this kind of thing and it's all really simple.
Stuff always goes up.
If you want a season ticket and can afford one = Get one
If you want one but can't afford it = Don't get on
If you don't want one = Don't get one

Like I said in the rest of the post. If you don't think it's good value or if you can't afford it don't get one...

Can anyone point me in the direction of a legally binding definition of Full Time Education? I've found several online so far and most of them contradict somewhere with the others!!
