No Matches in Prague since neither Slavia or Sparta ever take part. And the competition finishes in January so no games in February either.

The 2007 Continental Cup Super Final is to be played in Szekesfehervar, in deepest Hungary, from 5 - 7 January 2007. Hope they've sorted their civil disorder out by then! For those who like to look at rinks and compare them to the NIC, enjoy this 3,500 capacity big shed! www.albavolanfevita.hu/ You don't know your born!! With the best will in the world, I can't see the Panthers winning through to the Finals. Maybe that's a blessing! Have fun in Prague in February Zoe!

and they are playing the final there!!!WHAT A DUMP!! They held part of the 2002 Pool B World Championships there - that was my first Worlds following the GB team... Assuming I've got them the right way around, Szekesfehervar isn't actually too bad.... it's fairly basic, but nothing really wrong with it. The second rink that we went to - Dunaujvaros - now that one IS a dump! With a frighteningly ramshackle wooden stand at one end that we were shoved onto... and they kept shoving as many people on there as they could, far beyond the number that we would consider to be safe!

I dunno..... of the three Hungarian rinks that I have been to (the two tongue-twisters named above, plus Debrecen Arena) only one of them - Dunaujvaros - had any real problems.

Yep Debrecen had a nice, shiny, new arena. Quite surprised the WC's are't being held there to be honest.
