Would rather have a HUGE flag be sent around the arena first before the game than any of that.
Though the "Jump Around" looks awesome.

Whatever happend to that big flag we had about 4 years ago that was usually in block 11? Or put black/white/yellow sheets of paper on every seat say in block 9,10,11 and then when the team skates out everyone stands up holding the cards...would only really look good though if it was a sell out.

too many mard arses at panthers games, some struggle to even chant or clap for the team let alon jump around i think thats a tad unfair... what people should realise is, and it has been said before, not everyone who goes to the game is a Panthers "fan" and won't get involved with the chanting. also, some are not extrovert enough to do it, i have been a panthers fan for years, but i don't join in the chants as i simply don't enjoy doing it. I'm not being mardy i just don't feel comfortable doing it... i'll clap along, but not shout out. the mix of people at games is what creates the atmosphere at the NIC, nothing more nothing less.

If you want a great atmosphere go to an away game!!! It only the die hard fans that usually go to these, and they are normally the loudest. Some of the best games I have been to are away games. Probably on eof the best was the CC final 1st leg in Cardiff last year.....Stevie wants a Dohnut etc etc.

For what it's worth, I think this is brilliant. I went to Madison Square Garden the week before that very clip was filmed to watch the New York Knicks play basketball The most amazing fun atmosphere I have ever encountered at any sporting event Non stop crowd involvement They have prizes for the most entertaining block each match night etc If you guys are ever in New York try and get to see the Knicks play - you will love it (and I am not a basketball fan) (Also watched the New York Rangers play the New York Islanders - a couple of nights before - dour in comparison to the basketball show they put on tbh)

In terms of are things set up ?
At New York Knicks they must employ about 30 girls/guys who have the job of getting the crowd involved
They will go to each block and ask for volunteers who have got talent - which ranges from kids who can dance like Michael jackson to fat guys who can do a stupid dance
You then do a mini audition for them - if they like it - they come back with the roving camera and ask you to do it again this time for the big screen
There is no doubt the Boston celtics guy would know he was being filmed but that is probably where the set up ends My kids got on the big screen doing robot dancing
Night I was there a young Chinese kid had even brought a keyboard with him and they set him up to play an awesome tune on there linked in to their sound system
Another guy got down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend etc
You can tell many of the things they do are rehearsed because they want to make a big impact etc - especially the blocks who often get there early to practise what they are going to do together
Each match they award special prizes to the block that provides the most support/entertainment
There are so many stoppages in play in the basketball - immdiately the play stops you immediately look to the big screen and something is happening - there is not a quiet moment all night - it is non stop
Without fail the American crowd hugely applaud and support absolutely anything anybody attempts to do
A basketball match in New York is in reality 25% basketball and 75% Americas got Talent
The crowd are a huge part of the entertainment
Like I say if you are ever in New York do not fail to get tickets for a New York Knicks game - you may even think you dont like this kind of thing but I guarantee you will get caught up in the entire atmosphere
I also believe it is something that only the Americans can do - the Brits as a whole are too embarrassed or cynical

For what it's worth, I think this is brilliant. The most amazing fun atmosphere I have ever encountered at any sporting event Non stop crowd involvement To counter that i went to a Washington Wizards game last season and it was the worst sporting atmosphere i have ever heard...the crowd were totally silent through the game and even when they tried to get fans involved it was quiet...has to be said the arena was less than half full though and the Wizards were.....erm.....rubbish.
