My Helpless fans thread was by far and away the best written and most thought provoking thread the cage has EVER seen....... FACT!

I don't get the purpose of this. I thought I'd try and get another Lepine thread going while Shaggy's at work. What better than to discuss the merits of the other Lepine threads previously posted. Perhaps my sense of humour is even stranger than I thought.

Robbing my nickname for Lepine are we? It's in very poor taste anyway!

Are we all agreed that Baz has now redeemed himself for his premature goal light incident on Tuesday?
You didn't think we'd forgotten did you Baz?

It wasn't premature, Baz just lives a minute into the future. In which case this is all his fault as he should have got a message to Lepine to pull out of the check, having seen the hash Hicks would make of the resultant call. Baz, you've got some explaining to do!

Are we all agreed that Baz has now redeemed himself for his premature goal light incident on Tuesday? You didn't think we'd forgotten did you Baz? At least it wasn't on Sky Sports Live like the Braehead one. Those new lights/switches are a bloody nightmare. Once they're on they lock on and you can't switch them off quick enough. Even though the lights themselves seem to take an age to flash and you would expect to be able to flick them on and off before any visible sign, I can confirm that this is not possible. I thought I might have gotten away with it, but then I heard the beginnings of a cheer from down the far end which then suddenly cut short, and I knew I hadn't. This was matched by a quick reflected red flash in the plexi above me, and some seconds later my phone went.. The other usual goal judge at Block 9 end had to work on Tuesday night. You'll be delighted to know that he managed to text me before the period end to rip it out of me. How quickly news travels eh Grant? When my phone light went (coincidentally a red flashing light) I knew who and what it was before I got to read it on the way round to the timekeepers bench. Even more amusingly the DJ said he'd got Roxanne, You Don't Have To Put On the Red Light cued up for the next break in play, but fortunately for me it was a goal some seconds later and he didn't get the chance to use it. No doubt it will happen again before the end of the season.
