The only down side for me last night was our lack of ability at face offs. I think we were poor at best.
A good road win though, and I'm sure we will see Hull pullin a few surprises.
It was really good to see so many fans there as well.
One last comment, is the after game awards went on far too long. A lot of fans had left by the time the players skated round at the end.

Am I right in saying that the new owners of Hull have been able to pump a little more money into the player budget. If so then it certainly seems to be paying off with an increase in attendances. Well done to them. I thought they had an even better roster before they nearly went bust and lost a couple of players to other teams??? I agree with this. Lepine and the guy they lost to Dundee would have made their D fearsome. Theyve got a lot of europeans in their team, but they play with heart. I still dont think theyve really improved though, Silverthorn and Kalmikov carry a lot of their threat, but the quality drops from there IMO. Good to see Ryan Lake back in pro hockey too. He brought some speed and spark to the stingrays, and made everyone whos had to play rec with/against him over the last couple of years feel a lot better that he can still do it in the top league!

Hull were good and will shock a few teams on their ice.
No rough stuff, sadly. Hull don't have any fighters, mainly euros pushing shoving and slashing but gloves super glued on.
Good game though. Boucher was good in their goal & Silverthorn is still a top sniper.
