It's expensive but well worth it, it will end up looking really, really good!

Panthers should have taken pre orders and got the names and numbers done when the shirts were made, sell em at £80-£90 would have been a nice little earner that.

By the time youve paid for it you could have bought another shirt! But its each to their own. If I was going to get it numbered, theyd be the only ones i'd let do it.

They do make the kit yes. But the idea of getting pre printed shirts and selling them is a good one. I might ask CH Sports if we get enough people intrested if they can do a group rate.

They should go for that, you'll also save on postage if you get them all sent to 1 address. You could get someone who goes to Cardiff for an away game to drop them off or collect them.

has anyone had any experience with getting NHL jersey's named?
i want my vintage devils jersey with a C on it and STEVENS on the back. i know the NHL shop dont allow retired names and numbers to be put on, and was wondering if CH do it, and in the right numbering and font (white with green trim).
i've emailed CH already, but if anyone has had their nhl jersey done then a heads up would be nice, cheers

I nearly brought a Devils vintage jersey last time I was their, the green adds a really nice effect!

Fair enough but other than Belfast Cresting who have since stopped trading I believe im not sure who will do it for you. Good luck though!

Asked several people why they don't do this. They just shrug their shoulders and think I am mad. They could have made a lot more money on Wednesday alone.

For me though it has to be official numbers or no numbers. Having worked at Decathlon in the past as well, I'd rather they didnt go near my shirt with hear transfers as well

Theres a company in Nottingham near the new tennis center, they do numbering and letters for shirts. I remember talking to some one from there when me and a few others wanted referee shirts, they only wanted £15-£20 extra for names and numbers on the backs in the individual characters stiched in.

Going off the subject of Panthers name and numbering.... I've found the best thing to do for a name and numbered NHL jersey is look through ebay.
Sure, you have to sift through a hell of a lot of rubbish, but i managed to get brand new jersey (reebok too, not the crappy CCM ones) with proper name and numbering for 37 quid! Pretty handy when you see what you would pay going through the NHL website. I was worried about how it was gonna be til it arrived tho....

Replica shirts with names and numbers on is the norm in the DEL. You just walk up and buy the player of your choice, home or away shirt. Great when you visit a game and want a souvenir, you can watch 2 periods, see which player catches your eye and then get their shirt in the second interval. Can't see any reason why it wouldn't work for the Panthers too. OK, they might end up with a bit of stock left over, especially if a player gets cut or leaves mid-season, but I am guessing that anyone with reasonable intelligence could predict which would be the big sellers and which not, and order in stock accordingly?

I think that if you can't afford CH numbering, then don't do it! There are some terrible shirts knocking around the arena! I have seen some shirts with the incorrect font, size and location and not happy with this they had the numbers in white and had the players name below the number, euro style.

But they are all 'rhino' style shirts, cheap cheap cheap - you can afford to carry stock when they are that cheap to buy.
