Me...I don't say a lot and sit on the fence ;D ;D ;D Yeah, right - sitting quietly on the fence...... whilst tossing pebbles in the pond and watching how the ripples spread! ;D

Many internet forums don't accept applications from people with hotmail/yahoo addresses due to spamming. Not sure if that's the case with the eLite forums but it should say somewhere in their sign-up rules. Shaggy is a Leicester Exile. ie he no longer lives in Leicester. However there are people who come to nearly every Panthers game from a lot further away than Leicester! Thanks. I'll try it with my work e-mail address then. Sorry, I'm not really thick, just read his post too quickly and guess I mis-interpreted it. Hey, not a problem... and yes - I'm originally from Leicester (well, Wigston actually) but moved to Nottingham ages ago and am firmly entrenched here. If you want a natter or whatever, just keep an eye out around the NIC for a long-haired beardy git, usually wandering around in a world of his own... and you'll have found me! ;D

Me...I don't say a lot and sit on the fence Exactly...2,000 posts of nothing out of HL, Genie. At least this post above is worth reading unlike all the rest! ;D I wonder how many of those posts relate to Sheffield in some way. Probably easier to count the ones that don't

Obviously wasn't completely awake when I started reading this thread this morning as I missed page 2 (I'm blaming having to work!) dingdong I will definately try and say hello. I shouldn't be too difficult to spot either because I'll be carrying my 9 month old son around (who is also already a huge Panthers fan ;D) Shaggy I will try and keep my eye out but your description sounds like half of OH's friends! lol Thankfully I'm the 'right' side of Leicestershire for making the games - still not the easiest of drives midweek though.

Finance is my biggest problem though! I'll certainly try to get to Sheffield and Coventry during the year. Some of the others are probably a little too far to travel with a 9 month old though.

Hi everyone, This is my first season watching Ice Hockey and have to admit to being hooked already. Having spent most of my life in a city with no ice-rink, let alone an ice hockey team, it was all a bit new to me. I saw this site mentioned on the Elite League forums so thought I'd come and have a look and it looks like a great site. I was wondering whether anybody could help me regarding registering to use the Elite League forums? I'm having problems registering and my e-mails are being bounced back from their help contact. I shall no doubt be posting on here quite a bit now I've found it. Hope nobody minds a newbie posting a new thread RUN! RUN! For the life of you, RUN!

'Mary Goran' seems to think he knows you! That's the impression I got too. Think he/she(?) might be a tad confused though. Yesterday was the first time I ever posted on here. I only saw my first game in September this year. And I don't think I know anybody from 'up north'! In fact, Nottingham is north enough for me lol

If you look under the avatar it says 'male' which confirms Mary Goran is a HE.
Mary Goran is a 'play on words' of Gary Moran - who happens to be GM of the Panthers, but that's the only connection. The real GM never posts on here!

Gary alledgedly once called The Cage a 'little forum'. Said something along the lines of "go and post this on your little forum' as far as I can remember.
Correct me if I'm wrong though...

Fact is Baz we know for a fact who Mary Goran is. Don't we Lucy? I've probably seen Mary more recently than any other posters on here. I know their gender. I was only commenting that selecting male or female on a profile does not confirm the nature of the contents of their underpants. ;D
