My Lord, I have never really been bored at a hockey game in my life - (thats a good few years of hockey) but this season has been something else. The being-bored-ness struck again last night, there was a few shimers of excitement with the goal mouth scrambles and short range shots at each end but apart from that a pretty bland match. I was still super amazed with the stand out player Krajicek, hes totally immense. Jan did really well and even though Petricko got the goal and assist, he was my Man of the Match. Nice to see the "Nottingham Badboy Sutherland" and Ted again and hopefully I'll see all the winning side next Saturday when am down for the weekend.

We think we're poor? Newcastle are appalling! absolutely correct Vipers are appalling ATM. the enthusiasm has gone from the team(vipers) and we currently cannot get even the basics right. Panthers? 2nd worst team i have seen this season, you didn't get back to winning ways on account of improved play, just that even the Whitley Warriors could give the Vipers a run for their money right now still, a win is a win and maybe kickstart your season again.

I went, Worth the trip to see the win and the pure elation on their faces at the end. They all want to win so badly. After last night its a big turnaround in their attitudes at least. The game wasnt the best of games. A win is a win. Lets claw our way back up to top spot now eh. No slacking, its far from over. Corey didnt look bad tonight. Evan along with the D pulled off some clearances from massive scrambles round the net. I was sure that one in the last second was gonna be in. Shmyr laughed in Payettes face. Id have loved to have seen them go. But Payette was quiet all night... intimidated? I heard hes not been his normal self all season. Ferone seemed to want to go most but Shmyr just shook his head. As said he spoke with his stick and nailed a goal. Got a feeling that next weeks home game will be different, i hope we really take it to them and get a great win, as for the shmyr factor, im in good mind to believe there will be afew big scraps between some of the newcastle bad boys and our very own shmyr and simoes. Hopefully it will fire our team up and we go on and crush whats left of newcastles spirit muhahahahaha

Can anyone at the game last night clear up this mystery. Start of second period Rees brings puck out of defence without challenge. He reaches somewhere around the halfway line and decides to dump it in the Vipers half. However for some reason he ends up ballooning it over the plexi beind their netminder. Hanson calls penalty for delay of the game. Ellis appeared to dislike call and had words. I thought there had been a recent rule change or am I mistaken (usually am lol) Can someone enlighten me

depends if he was just in his half when he cleared dumped the puck in, no ref in there right mind would call a penalty like that when its clearly not intentional and not trying to delay the game

I FULLY expect Ryan to go for Payette, Cornish or Ferone straight away on Saturday night in a "This is MY house" kinda way! Fingers crossed he beats Payette to a pulp, picks him up and does it all over again

At last!!!!!! A good win though, with goals from those that have been lacking in firepower!! In fact as far as I can see from a quick scan, it's the first game we've won that David Clarke hasn't scored in.

and thinks andre isn't worth fighting That's probably true unfortunately..... Still, if it stops Payette cheap shotting then all well and good.
