Which night do you prefer to see Panthers play at home?
For me it has to be Saturday. Watch Footy in afternoon, then go to see Panthers at night.

Not convinced this poll means much.....obviously Saturday will easily be the most popular as despite working hours having changed over the last decade to make us a 24/7 society, Saturday is still the one evening that most people have free. I think it might have been more interesting to have just two choices, weekend games ( Sat/Sun) against weekday ( Mon/Fri) games - you may argue that you can just add up the respones to the poll and deduce that but it isn't quite the same thing. In polls I usually find you can put essentially the same question more than one way and get not quite the same answer Anyway

saturday is the night i prefer simply because it gives you even more reason to look foreward to weekend, you can have a few drinks knowing tomorrows Sunday and anyway in the week it finishes later and i have to be up earlier, not a great combination.
but really i love watching Hockey anytime

succinct as always DD, oh and derby what would a weekend v weekday prove either? If as i suspect most people will say they prefer sat then it confirms my view that NIC are just shafting panthers fans because they know we are flexible and apart from a few moans and a few who cant make it on any other day will still turn up....As stated only way to make them think is to hit them in their pocket but i guess that means missing games that arent on the preferred day..

Saturday, has been since 1980 and always will be for me.
Midweek games are tough as I have to drive up from Birmingham after a day's work.

Sunday was always traditional hockey night in Cardiff, Never clashed much with cardiff city or Rugby and what an atmosphere in the place even though there had been long weeks at work.
Anyone tell im missing hockey in cardiff yet lol

Sorry to buck the trend, but for one I am really pleased that 2 games have been shifted to Friday night.
Sorry to be a boring old fart, but I quite like Saturdays to be a day at home day when I'm not working.
I have to admit, I do struggle at times to drag the old bones out of the chair and make my way down to the NIC on a saturday night, but on a friday its no problem, probably because its been busy at work and so the whole 'active thing' is still going on.
