I think we still need to be pushing to win these three games as second place is still within our grasp. Second place is first loser blah blah blah, but it could be the ticket into Europe for next season, if there are going to be the Continental Cup and the Champions League. Second place would also most likely mean that we get Vipers in the quarter finals as well. then again we have a better ratio against both shuff and burgh....then vipers...they have been real nemesiss this year

So Cory awarded the most consistent player award to KSP, !! Well he does consistently let in at least one soft goal... (except for his 1 shut out!)...perhaps that's what Cory means? On the Panthers website, it says KSP got an award, but doesn't say what he got?...it says

Forget what has got to happen to the Blaze, for us to win the title Belfast have got to lose at home to Newcastle.Even the most blinkered supporter in the world knows that aint gonna happen, its ten times more of a longshot than Coventry losing their last two.
(and before anyone points it out, i remember what happened there earlier this season, but do you really think lightning will strike twice?)

Boring game, still got dominated physically by Caps, without Sharp, still let them run at / hack at the netminder unpunished it is getting stupid, clean em out for god sake. makes me sad.
Missed the first goal after spotting Matsos and not being able to shout 'what's it like to see a crowd?' because there wasn't much of one. Why oh why wasnt this game on the season ticket??? they would have made the money back on beer sales alone. There would also have been a crowd to see the awards.

I think Bergin got best performance in a single game for his gordie howe hat trick against Giants, the award was a lap top??? chosen by orchid it.
KSP got most consistant player, chosen by Corey (i think this was in appology for not having a defence)
Mann got fans player.
Meyers got Ripplingdale trophy, not 100% on what this is for? best brit? dont know who choses it.

Last night's crowd reported in NEP at 3,919 - I wasn't there myself, in protest at the non-inclusion of the game on the ST, ha ha ha way to protest, even if the crowd was more like 2000 than 3,919 i'm sure panthers organisation are kicking themselves over the fact you didn't go "in Protest" The only language Black understands is cash Lee, and last night it was better in my pocket than his! If their gamble that we were still in with a realistic shout of the League title last night had paid off, the crowd would have been closer to 5,500 paying normal match prices. As it was, the crowd was much smaller, paying reduced prices, and contained many freebies given out to the Armed Services (which I am not against in any way!). As you quite rightly indicate, the loss of my cash on the night may be of no particular significance, but aggregated across a further 1,500 to 2,000 regulars not attending the game does make a big dent in the cashflow!

the official attendance last night was 3,537 and that is a fact I still find that very hard to believe...it seemed much much lower than that it must of been our worst crowd of the season...not that it matters really lol

I bet they gave away 2000 tickets and not all were used.
