It's not a massive rink but it's certainly wide from looking at those pictures. I can't wait for our first game there!

Those pictures are deceptive, if you see the rink up close its quite an imposing structure. And due to us having to use the old boards from the old WNIR then the ice dimensions will be exactly the same as the old rink. Also what the rink doesnt show us is that the lights and the plumbing is done in the place along with the changing rooms which are completed. 4 weeks today is the projected completion date. WE shall see

Is it me or is it coming along rather slowly? When did they start building it?

Is it me or is it coming along rather slowly? When did they start building it? I believe that it was delayed because they found something about the foundations that needed to be sorted out - something that had been missed on the earlier surveys. Not sure what it was... chemical residue, old basements, whatever...

4 weeks today is the projected completion date. WE shall see I'm absolutley no expert on the subject but how long does it take to install an ice plant and get the pad ready for ice hockey?

Not sure on the ice plant not long i would have thought. To get the pad ready will take a week as we have the same people working on it who used to lay the ice pad every summer at the WNIR
