Hi Me and a mate will be spending the weekend in Nottingham and will attend the 2nd leg cup tie between the Panthers and the Steelers after having watched Forest vs Brentford at the City Ground What are the rules of the doubleheader? Is it simply the aggregate score with or without the away goals rule? I haven't received the tickets with the post, but is that normal procedure, when the tickets are bought from overseas? I hope, that they still have the tickets at the NIC, and the money have already been charged on my creditcard... Looking forward to the weekend!

just take ya card to desk in middle of the foyer mate and your ticket will be there, if you got your booking reference that will help but they dont often ask for that, just the card it was bought on ;D

What are the rules of the doubleheader? Is it simply the aggregate score with or without the away goals rule? Surprisingly, it's being played as a 2 game league! 2 Panthers wins or 1 Panthers win & a draw will see us through to the semi's.

Should be but they may surprise us. I have not heard yet we could see over-time or/and penalty shots to decide if BOTH a draw. This is my assumption. Not really read all into it.

There is another two group double header also...Belfast v Manchester. The other 6 teams are in three group round robin games.(Cardiff,Basingstoke,Coventry and Hull,Edinburg,Newcastle)..... The winners of all 4 groups hit the semi's after that.

What are the chances of a ticket in the away end if i turn up on the door? Guessing very unlikely but only ever seen panthers v steelers at the NIC.

Doesn't anybody know, whether it's the aggregate score, that decides the winner or something more complicated?

Doesn't anybody know, whether it's the aggregate score, that decides the winner or something more complicated? It seems not DP - I must admit I don't. Can't remember any announcement. Wouldn't come as a total surprise if the League hasn't specified a means of deciding it. If either team wins by a big margin on Friday they'll probably ignore the aggregate score and play O/T and penalties in the event of a win a piece. If it's a close game they might decide to go with the aggregate score. On a serious note - I don't even remember hearing if O/T and penalties are to be played in these games or whether a draw is to be a valid result. About time the matter was clarified by Club or League.

Knowing the elite league there will be an ice dance "Skate off" or a round of curling to decide the outcome

Thanks to Sarah for a speedy clarification. Yep! Unfortunately I think she's still trying to track down the clarification of the exact box office address and cheque payable to details that were missed off the news article for buying ST anniversary game tickets through the post. Not sure how Panthers thought/think we are going to pay for them! ;D

Aggregate as it should be. If Sheffield win 1-0 tonight and we win 10-0 I would not want OT. All the best ,here we go.
