Well Blaze will be without Greg Owen and Tom Watkins again, so I'm predicting 2 wins for the Panthers this weekend. I know I would strongly tip a full-strength Blaze to beat an under-strength Panthers team, so why not the other way round?
Nottingham 4-2 and 4-3. Just hope I'm wrong..

I think they will both be very close games. i think a 3-2 win on this...possibly after OT.

with the games in hand that others have on us we can't afford to lose either game this weekend, so i'm going for Panthers to win both nights. 4-3 & 3-2

Tonight - we win 3 -2 (1 - 2 at the end of the second and our infamous resurgent third period takes us to a win) Tomorrow - eeek its the Skydome and I'm going so its bound to be painful (must remember to buy some earplugs in the morning). I hope we will come out with a win, 3 - 4. And it'll take us 35 mins to get out of the multistorey!

3-1 at the end of the 2nd. One of the best 2nd periods I have seen while watching Panthers. Great hockey.
No signs of any fights breaking out yet. Its pretty quiet on the ice.

i wouldnt say we had worked hirsh out. He got mardy by the end and lost his head. Not to take any credit from us though. Battling a win like that that in a flat game though is what we need. Entirely new game tomorrow though.

Really entertaining game that had me hooked.
Could have heated up a bit more, but Stevie Lee for me was our best player, thought St. Pierre was quality until the 2nd goal and he didn't have much to do from there on in.
Larocque was great as well, loved his 'charging' penalty! Obviously referee's can't take hard hits anymore and have to send anyone who can hit to the box to stop fights.
Well played Panthers, loved it.

Thought we played well but certainly wasn't a 6-2 game, the Blaze just gave up when that 4th goal went in. I didn't think it was a "must win" game like others said before the game and neither is tomorrow when you have another 30 odd games. As long as we keep grinding out some wins, we'll be there or there abouts at the end of the season ... even if we lose tomorrow.

I agree, both Lee and Larocque were immense, made KSP's job a lot easier!
Lee's check when he took out two players was awesome.

I really enjoyed tonight's game, was an end to end game for the large part with some big hits and very nice plays all round. All of our goals were excellent,Mann's 1 on 1 was more of what we would have expected from him, great finish. Blaze had a lot of posession but didnt do an awful lot with it and when they did St Pierre stood tall and blocked the shots.
Levers was great again tonight and im pleased he got a goal for all his efforts. I just hope we can now repeat this form for tomorrow!
With regards Mario's 'charging' yes it was a great hit but he did take a run up from the blue line so you cant be too shocked it got called.

Well it proves we all see it differently. I thought that was the flattest, most lack lustre game I've seen in years against Blaze.
We deserved to win but it wasn't a 6-2. Neither team looked threatening all game.
Larocque and Levers were amazing though - can't believe Levers wasn't MOTM.

Well contrary to some opinion both games are must win to even out some of the games in hand, played well, won the game, job half done, same again tomorrow guys. Re the flat comment we are all different for sure, I thought the second was end to end excitement proving that you do not need fights, or plenty of goals to produce exciting hockey!

Thought tonights game was great KSP was huge for us when it counted, interestingly I counted only 11 skaters for the Blaze tonight and I think that really took it's toll towards the end of the game, good result, some great goals, more of same tomorrow please!
