I think the issue was bigger than that at St James. Not sure that anyone could have kept them up. The dressing room is rotten to the core, and Shearer/whoever came in had no call over the squad. Anyway, neither here nor there. Another fortunate and dreary win for the lads which (until cov finish at least) puts us back at the top of the table, i believe. Not sure how we can be 'fortunate' and still challenging. at the top. Corey made a real fool of himself with those comments. ranger like it or not, Vipers are over achieving this year , when the season starts whop talks of the vipers challenging for the title? Yeah we are overachieving. Or everyone else is underachieving. Rob has admitted it. Our GM has admitted it. Every Viper fan has admitted it. Not sure what your point is. Looking forward to our new signing - apparently an exECHL all star. SHould be interesting

Our next signing should be a new net minder, ksp needs to go, how many soft goals and how many shut outs. Take a look at goal difference of top 4 teams it tells its own story

unfortunately was expecting a narrow loss after last night with players banged up and vipers having a night off . by the sounds of it , the vipers GWG was a wrong call, shouldn t have been called a PS What happened for the Vipers to be awarded the penalty shot, anyone know?

D'Amour tripped Berry. Different opinions as to whether he was on the blue line or deep in the zone. We will see on the VipersTV later this week i guess

Panthers need to find a way to win on the road and quickly otherwise bang goes any league challenge.
Fatigue doesn't cut it, other teams manage two games on the trot why shouldn't Panthers?
Example; Coventry won a hard fought victory in Belfast last night and are currently hamering Hull.

To make a bad night worse, just been told that a few Panthers fans have been involved in trouble with Vipers fans and their announcer after he made some comments in response to Corey's comments.
Sad that a few fans have to let us all down.

I dont generally post on here but as per the previous ,a couple of your fans were a disgrace to the game tonight. Our announcer reminded the fans of Cory's pre match comments so these clowns took exception and tried to go for him.... bad show indeed.
Nice to see you guys again just a pity that money can't buy you a win against us.
And thanks for the thicko comments.. ;D ;D

OK - looking at the text commentry we were awfull - no plan - played badly - sack the coach - send the rock back - change the whole team - there is a group of players just up the road why can't we sign them - league challenge now over - we may if we are lucky finish 4th or 5th - only 40 more games to go for us to salvage a little pride this season

Just got home from the game and it was a complete borefest!
I did not see anybody go for the announcer but if I had have I would have been there with them. He was irritating, insulting and full of himself all night! Yawning down the mic if Panthers iced the puck, thanking us for offsides, reminding us of the 6 nil loss in hocktoberfest (not even from them) calling us big spending Panthers or Nottingham pussy cats. He was just unprofessional all night long. I did however see Hanson threaten to throw him out at the end of the game, during his speech thanking Nielson for his comments and what not.
As for the performance, Panthers passing was terrible all night unless it was to a Vipers player and then it was sublime and straight to the tape! Panthers did not look like scoring and Vipers had plenty of chances whilst swarming our goal. Could have been a lot more if not for KSP. The shots Robbo had to save either hit the Viper on the fron of his shirt, or went straight into his glove!
Not looking forward to the drive up to Edinburgh now...

My two penneths worth as I was actually at the game (not suree how people make sweeping assumptions when they're not there themselves, although I guess that's the nature of all forums). The Vipers played a good game and being 2-1 up at the end of the 2nd was not an unfair reflection of the game. You generally had more possession but that was expected, however, the Vipers outworked the Panthers again in my view and is the reason for our win tonight and success(so far) this season. Larocque is certainly a big body but wasn't overly impressed. However, he has just arrived so may turn out to be a good player once he settles in. As for the penalty shot, Hanson was miles away from the action at the other end (as it was a quick break away) and he consulted with his linesman who informed him it was a penalty shot. He was certainly bearing in on goal (when D'amour I believe made a desperate lunge to take him down) so I would have had no qualms if it was the other way round. As for the comments from our announcer, they were unprofessional but equally Coreys comments were hardly professional either. Having said that you're obviously setting yourself up for a big fall by issuing the PR you did. By the way it was quite ironic that Neilson actually took the pen in the dying minutes to nullify your PP opportunity. All in all it was a fairly even game in the first two periods and the Panthers came on strong in the last without creating too much.

a well deserved trip down south for Coach Wilson last night. See how we play and work out a plan to beat.
And once again he did = Maybe that equates to being a good Coach??
Forget sheffields Woes - if you compare our games played to our competitors we could be the laughing stock of this years league if we dont start winning again. I mean its not as if were short of talent (on paper that is!!)

very proffesional response.
I think someone may need to tell that numpty of an announcer is that away fans bring in revenue to a club that maybe struggling for income.
Would you pay to be Sl****ed off??
