Actually think we might win over the two games. We have improved slightly over the past few weeks and Belfast have seemingly fallen to bits.

Are you off down town with your paying in books to change your savings accounts and mortgage over to The Nottingham B S then Kiev. Would people really do that just because they now sponsor Panthers ? I doubt it unless they’re a bit shallow thinking. 🤔 You could say that kind of thing about any sports sponsor in the world what a stupid comment. The whole point of sponsorship is publicity and expanding your brand

I know of company about to announce at 9pm that they have a new "sporting partnership". Doesn't say who but it has to be Panthers as there is already a connection there. Can't say who as its being kept under wraps until then and i don't want to get anyone in trouble by revealing it. Don't know if this is connected with Panthers "new era" announcement tonight.

I don't think we'll get Russell. I think he'll end up at Coventry or Braehead. I could be wrong thats just my gut feeling

Supporting a club who's primary colour is the brightest orange in the history of colours, I'd say white helmets was very tame I like the orange, just needs some black helmets and shorts to break it up a bit 😂 Definitely. There nothing wrong with a having orange as your main colour but it too much at the moment. They look like they've been tangoed. Get rid of that blue too. Whoever thought that orange and blue compliment each other needs sacking asap. There's also a darker patch of orange on the back of their shorts that makes them look like they've had an accident

You picked the wrong player there mate. If you think Corey was good for him,you need to ask Paul Swindlehurst his opinion ! 😉 Oh don't get me wrong, I'm gutted we let Swindlehurst go, and fully understand why he wanted to go, but the point I was making was his initial comments when he first joined. Wasn’t there the opinion at the time that Swindlehurst had a poor attitude and that’s why things broke down. I know Corey has many faults but he can’t be blamed for everything

When did i dismiss your opinion? I just had issue with the selfish comment which i believe to be complete nonsense. For the record i agree in principle that there should be better British development but not to the detriment of the Panthers of the EIHL. A proper junior league should be in place to highlight and develop young British talent as a springboard to earning a place in the Elite League. Unfortunately i don't see that happening any time soon because like it or not money talks. Only a couple of years ago an u20's (or something similar can't remember exactly) was set up by the EIHL i believe and was scrapped before it even began as not enough teams would invest into it. I think the current u23 brit rule is good starting point at present as it encourages young British development without it meaning squads have to be filled with sub standard players.

Rules don't change because of Saturday night fans though. They won't know the import rules. They'd be entertained enough whoever was out on the ice. Not sure why you're laying the blame for that at their door? There's plenty I'd blame them for but British development, or lack of, seems a bit of a stretch. If anyone I'd think it's the longer time fans, who do know the value of a British passport to a player, who would be the ones wanting more imports? Must be said too, that I don't remember too many Olympic medals from the plucky British boys when there were only 3 imports in the top league. Although as PantherB says, the reasons we don't produce quantity and quality of British players is down to access, facilities and coaching. The fix for those would likely involve a ton of money. I think you're the one talking about Saturday night fans. I'm talking about the failure to see any possible development of British players by the owners, foreign coaches or supporters who are only interested in what they can have now now now. To Everyone.... It doesn't matter that they've watched the Panthers for 10 years, these people are arena hockey watchers and as such have no experience of seeing home grown talent come through the system. And yet they think they can tell those that have, how it can never happen and that it's all about money. It's all about the present customer base being selfish individuals that have more in common with Black and Moran than with me. if the cap fits and you find yourself in this category, you're not on your own there are thousands of you and after Black n Moran have reset the customer base you're now in the majority. And nothing will change as there's no real desire to see change as long as you're getting the best hockey. Wake up ! You're not getting the best hockey ! Are you for real. What about people who aren't even old enough to have going to the Panthers game pre arena or those that simply found ice hockey after that time. Its not their (or my) fault that they weren't around to see the game at that time call every fan post year 2000 selfish individuals with more in common with Black and Moran is just a plain pig ignorant attitude and insulting. At the end of the day the game has moved on. As i understand it and i'm no expert as i wasn't watching hockey then the ISL was scrapped because the way it worked was unsustainable and teams were folding left right and centre. Right now British Ice Hockey is probably in the healthiest state its been since the mid 90's so why would you completely rip up the format purely for Brits

At the end of the day its all about money. It would be great to have a proper junior development system but the fact is in this country there's no money to made in developing home grown talent and i can't see that changing anytime soon. Its only got worse too since the EPL folded

You are certainly entitled to your opinion even if you are wrong.I really like his game. The fact you expected him to be in top 5 in the league speaks to your lack of knowledge of the leagues he has played in compared to the EIHL. The Asian league is not exactly the AHL. Good player! Hi Sam & Dan 🤣🤣🤣 Love it.

Certainly find it interesting that Mokshantsev hasn’t been mentioned in this list of players people either want back or want an improvement on. Is that because he’s not deemed to be one of our top forwards or people thinking his potential is higher than our league? For me I’d have him back to see if a fresh squad and fresh faced can really get him going. A lot of talent that is seemingly not able to come to light I think he's flattered to deceive imo. He's a really good player but he's had a very quiet second half of the season. Maybe he's been figured out by the other teams. With his talent at his age and being a russian though i imagine he would have seen the Panthers as a stepping stone to greater things

Pretty much agree with that. Only thing i would change would be Galbraith to a definite yes. Thought about maybe looking to replace Clarke just looking whose around theres not choice. Only real possibilities would be Luke Ferrara or Lewis Hook. Derlago would have to produce a lot more if he was to return. Need more points from your top liners. Phillips seems to be someone who doesn't know how to make the most of the talent he has. From being a number 1 draft pick he looks like he hasn't cut it wherever he's been. Bussieres has been one of the biggest wastes of an import slot i've seen. When he was described as a rough and tumble power forward when he signed i was expecting a Leigh Salters kind of player, but he ponderously slow, not much skill, doesn't throw his big body nearly as much as he should and he can't his a cows a**e with a banjo. Bit early to say with Vaskivuo. Thought he looked very good against Cardiff and his assist for the Pither goal was fantastic. Pither is the guy i really want to see back though. Been very impressed with him since he arrived

Neither is the EIHL. When he's also produced more points in Denmark, Germany, and the ECHL shows your the one whose knowledge is lacking. Besides i never said he wasn't a good player. He battles hard and gets in the dirty areas but should be scoring more goals and getting more assists. So don't tell me my knowledge is lacking when you can't even spell his name

Spang plays defence. You go on a public forum and rip on guys, but yet don't even know what position they play....seriously ? That's what he means, he looks like a guy playing defence who wants to play wing. Don't personally agree with that, actually think Spang has had a little of the Iron Bryans this year and I've warmed to him somewhat, quite solid. Also cut out on the dives, to his credit. Delgado has been excellent He's been OK, he works hard, but we need more goals from somewhere and, based on his CV, he was one we hoped to provide them. As a team we're still in negative goal difference in the league. Not much point discussing ins and outs until we know who's going to coach, unless we want Gary making signings? Gary may handle contract negotiations with current players he wants to return and let the new coach hire the rest. May depend on when the gets the new guy in and who it is

Delgado has been excellent DERLAGO has massively underachieved this season. He's scored well over a PPG wherever he's played throughout his career and isn't even close to that mark this season. When the season began i fully expected him to be top 5 leading scorers in the league at the end if not THE top.

My last game of the season, made a bit more enjoyable due to the OT winner. Don’t think it was a bad game; the 3-0 win against Dundee was less appealing. Wonder who’ll be back player wise. Garnett will as he’s on a uni deal. The only ones I think would be a possibility are:- Galbratih Sauve Perlini Mosey Gagnon Billingsley Brown Pither

Will never happen and nothing to do with GM. Decent coaches are too sort after. When was the last time a bench coach and decent one came over without any eihl connections? It was that Chuck Weber bloke Pidge, who won the play offs on the back of Brian Stewart,Ryan Omarra a fairly average Coventry team. But were totally crap in the league. How is that any different from Corey. The problem with bringing a North American whose new to the league is that they won’t have the mindset of the league being the big competition yet that is what panthers have always been missing

I think if you take away this season it would look like a stud signing. Over a PPG last season in NLB which is a good standard and a couple of points for Davos in NLA playoffs plus he's been well over a PPG for most teams he's played. Its where he's played this season which puts a dampener on his CV but he's has a disrupted and late start to the season with the family illness. If he plays to the kind of level he was at last season it should be a quality signing. Although it doesn't really matter all that much now anyway But look at the leagues he’s played in. Italy,Denmark,France and even the ECHL are nothing to write home about. We have consistently beaten teams from all those Euro leagues If he was a point a game in the AHL,DEL,Czech etc then you might have a point. But if he had a point per game in those leagues he wouldn't give the EIHL a seconds thought. The NLB i still a good standard and the other leagues he's played in are pretty much on par with EIHL. Despite how much Panthers could spend no way could we compete with top DEL, Czech teams etc for top end scorers

exactly, he’s been the top scorer on most teams he’s played on, if he’d been signed earlier there would have been a real buzz about the place Nowhere near a buzz signing. If we had signed this guy in the summer,it would have been viewed as a 2nd line signing at best. To change anything in this years team we needed two stud quality signings and fishing around in the French second tier isn't going to find you that. I think if you take away this season it would look like a stud signing. Absolutely terrible. The first time i've actually left a game early. Something i never do. Someone posted that we had effort but were just crap. I thought that was one of the most can't be arsed performances i think i've ever seen. What happened to the team that never knew when it was beat from Oct-Nov even if they weren't playing well
