The MK games have been the best games in the league this season imo. I'm glad we got them. It's always a little feisty, though Miika is a big game player. So gonna be tough.

I honestly don’t care who we get or who picks us in the next round. Either way to win the thing your going to have to play a top seed. Play Gospel and give the lad a chance, no point in him being here if he ain’t ever going to get a game.

Thought we were awful for most of the game, so frustrating to watch, PP was shocking again and really needs sorting out. Thought bother keepers were poor and will want some of the goals back.
But then we turned it on and just smashed them, it’s always great to get a win just think we could be awesome if we cut out the silly mistakes and PP issues. Glad Gagnon got MOM his goal was perfect timing and the fight for sticking up for his team as he usually does.

Unbelievably proud to be a Panther tonight. Seriously it’s night like these that make you love this game. Our team have gone above and beyond what anyone in Ice Hockey ever thought they would. We would have been happy to win one game never mind top a CHL group and push such a team as Zurich like we did. Little disappointed in the reffing performance tonight but let some be honest even without that Zurich were just a very very good team.
Now we can focus on winning this league and having a good few days rest, everyone deserves it.

They was bound to score a one on one at some point and they did. So any took a silly penalty. 4 minutes of our third period is going go be on the kill and still need 3 goal just to tie. Gonna be tough now .

We are playing well. They have had a about 6 one on ones but Garnett has been solid. Hopefully we can tighten up a bit and try knick a goal in the second for an epic third period. Oh and the crowd have been awesome tonight keep it up block 4 ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Not sure how much I buy the fatigue thing. They are pro athletes and we have 4 lines. Spot the kids in for additional rest if needed. For me they took their foot off the gas after the initial dominance. Lots of teams I’ve played for (albeit in a different sport) have relaxed when they think they have the game won, and let the other team come back into it. Then very difficult to turn back the tide. Still - a win’s a win 4 game in 7 days regardless of whether you are a pro athlete or not is hard work. Especially when the last game you played involved a flight to Zurich against such a high quality team. I agree with spotting the younger players in though. Would have liked to see Kelsall and Tetlow get a shift or two tonight.

Everyone just looked exhausted and I agree with Logan we started so well but our own PP just killed us and we never recovered. The first 10 and last 10 was all we had in that game and if it wasn’t for Galbraith having an awesome game we would have most certainly lost it. Credit to the team though got the win that’s all that matters.
Though I think tomorrow is going to be a nightmare if the last time we played Lightning is anything to go by.

What a game. Don't know if everyone enjoyed it as much as I did but it had everything. Fantastic goals, hits, fights, comeback win and two goals for a player on his birthday haha.
MK are good team imo, Kearny wow is he a little rat. But it added spice to the game so glad he was. Great win and on to tomorrow now.

Got a feeling Mikka is gonna be on top form ... unfortunately for us.
Still think we should get the win. Garnett in nets for us imo.

How did Mokshantsev not get MOM?
Missed the first period but ok game, PP awful as usual. The quick goals were just what we needed. A few of our previous teams would have lost that game so two points in the bag is good. On to the tough trip tomorrow.

Exceptional first period, just wow. Seemed to coast the rest of the game but the game was won pretty easily. I understand Giants were missing players so its no true showing of what Giants are capable of but we looked unplayable in that first period.
Sauve's pass to Derlago was epic! Galbraith was very good tonight too.

The problem is paying for Storm, Turku then Steelers is a lot for people to pay for, especially for a family. You also know which one the casual fan will choose ...

Enjoyed that game, glad we went one nil down as it forced us to be more clinical. Still making a few silly errors in defence but the forwards seem to be shooting more and some of the forechecking is brilliant. The amount of turnovers we created in there zone was incredible. Have to say I think Lacho has really stepped up this season which is good to see. Gagnon really enjoyed tonight and him offering out the bench made Keefe go crazy can’t wait to see Keefe on the ice with him. is Keefe still a player? I thought he signed as bench coach. Oh sorry you could be right, I just assumed he was injured ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) was looking forward to them having a scrap. oh well.

OK game, think Flames were better than anyone expected them to be. Any time they stepped across the blue line they was looking to shoot and their second goal proved a perfect example of this. On the other hand we were trying to many fancy passes, trying to get the perfect goal. Our PP is still very frustrating for this reason.
As for the lines I think the first two are fine, Mok/Phillips/Derlago and Farmer/Perlini/Shalla. The other two, whilst they do work hard, just doesn't seem to be working as well. I think once Mosey is moved back to forward we can have a change around of lines.
Gonna be tough away tomorrow but I like this group of players and think things will eventually come good.

Lol glad that was a CC game. I am also still glad we played Gospel, regardless of results the kid needs to play in order to improve.

Oh and just have to say I think the ref ruining that game, he was calling anything! For both sides he was just terrible. ....so the players ruined the game by giving the refs something to call. If you want the ref to stop blowing the whistle, stop the infractions. A game with no infractions is never going to happen .... obviously. I think he just got a little whistle happy and as a result the game didn't flow as well as it could, for both sides.

I didn't expect this game to be easy and it wasn't but I thought we could have stepped it up. A guy around me summed it up in my opinion in that Blaze brought us down to the level they wanted to play in, setting the tempo for the game. At home I think we should be setting the tempo especially with the quality and speed we have. As for the power play ... the less said the better. So predictable. Steelers scored 6 goals tonight and three of those were on the PP. Let's hope they don't get any tomorrow. Oh and just have to say I think the ref ruining that game, he was calling anything! For both sides he was just terrible. Where do you sit? I said that to the Mrs Block 14 ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) If it was you, I certainly agree and couldn't put it better myself ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)
