Maybe Stevens is offside alot because he is SO fast and its his team-mates who arent quick enough to get the puck to him as he's breaking forward.?

Or maybe hes just not paying attention and instead of skating across the blue line with one leg onside hes just drifting... I agree hes quick but that wasnt why we were offside so much over the weekend

As an experinced guy who's played at quite high levels ie. team canada..........It would suprise me if its down to lack of concerntration. He's hardly a wet behind the ears rookie, and lets face ot, he knows the game a hell of a lot better than we do.

Haven't been on here for a while, since the end of the Racers.
I went to Sunday's game and, as a neutral, was disappointed.
It seemed to me the turning point was one shift in the second when Cooke suddenly started fore-checking like a lunatic, clearly in an attempt to lift the team. Unfortunately for you it seemed to have more of an effect on the Blaze who promptly scored from probably the best move of the game.
Your forwards' timing was off throughout: I don't think I've seen so many offsides and most weren't even marginal. Were the line combinations different from normal?
I don't think either side's powerplay would have delivered if they'd tried until midnight.
Just one of those nights, I guess.

Just one of those games is right Tom.
Both teams were just going through the motions really. A soft goal for Blaze IMO or it would have ended 0-0
2 teams like those playing on sunday should have had a multi goal game. Especially the amount of powerplay opportunitys.
