I felt numb when I heard the news. A great bloke and great photographer. Will always remember him stepping aside at Coventry to let me take a photo. R.I.P. Dave

TBH i can't think of a match any more special to make noise for Mr. Page. 7,000+ fans in the arena to make noise for one of the most talented and popular guys in british ice hockey.

R.I.P Dave Thank you so much for the brilliant picture with me and a friend with the trophies and Mike Ellis. I am absolutely gutted, always loved at seeing the pictures the week after the game, a quality professional and will be sorely missed.

It was indeed devastating news, made all the more so because of the improvement that those of us who had visited Dave in hospital had seen, albeit starting from a very poor base.
A top bloke.
We shared a lot of laughs, and I hoped we'd get the chance to share a lot more, but it was not to be.
My thoughts are with Sue and Danny and the rest of the family. I'm not very often lost for words, but at the moment I am.
RIP mate
Richard

I didn't know Dave personally but I saw him almost every game - so shocked and saddened by this news. I've bought several of Dave's photos over the years, one of which is proudly hanging on my wall next to me as I type. Such a great photographer.
My thoughts are with his family. Rest in peace Dave.

Rest in Peace Dave. A devastating loss to your family, your friends, your fans the Panthers, to ice hockey, to photography and to art. Your photos reminded us al of the highs whilst making the lows seem exciting when documented in a frame. Thoughts are with your family. A sad, sad day

Dave helped me out via the club for a few shots for my last book. But you did not have to know the guy well.He was a part of the club and a big part that Gary Moran has now got to fill. It's the sudden happening of it that gets you.One minute on that concourse and the next we won't get the chance to wink wave or smile again.

I think this one probably sits proudly somewhere in many of our homes. One of the many great moments he's allowed us to keep forever.

We've had more than our fair share of sudden and sad losses over the years in Nottingham. It's barely a year since we lost Andy Smith: now this.
I guess it's cumulative effect, but this news has really hit me for six. Such a friendly bloke and brilliant photographer, always knocking about in the downstairs corridor on match nights, always happy to see you, always with a story to tell. I can't believe he's gone.
Sympathies to Sue and Danny.
Bye, big fella.
(PS that's a nice piece on the Panthers website, I think)

Wow, shocked doesn't seem to be quite adequate. Top bloke and top work. That corner of the concourse certainly won't seem the same.
R.I.P. Dave, you certainly won't be forgotten, and I imagine a tribute on Saturday will be long and loud.

I still can't believe it. I hope the club do something fitting in memory of Dave, apart from the minute of cheers on saturday. R.I.P Dave, keep shining up there.
