Black Diamond bitter/ale or Panthers Black Diamond bitter/ale or Black diamond anniversary bitter/ale.
Or does that give the impression it's a dark beer? Guess it will be reasonably pale if it's Castle Rock?

How about
Panthers Strongman Pride
A reference to Les Strongman who played in that first year, then was the first coach when reformed in 1980.

Much a-brew about nothing???
I'll get my coat. ;D
On a serious not I do like the 6T suggestion and the Strongman suggestion is a good call if the beer will be premium strength.

Enforcer.
Sounds like something Ginger Monster would have quaffed in the Bunker's before the game God bless him.
Black and Gold does seem the obvious one.

That's good. I like that. It could have a pump clip with a picture of Baz battering Vial. It might help the debate if we knew whether this beer is likely to be a bitter, mild or stout.

Black and gold is good, Panthers Pride is good, I was thinking somehting a little more reflective, as we're likely to get morose having sunk a few, so how about Tears of the Panther Prides Redemption (which I quite like:-)) Panther Bite hehehehehehehe (can't take this one at all seriously!!!!!!!:-)

If it were a cider it could be called Les Strongbow Lol thats terrible!! Liking the panther bite, that would have to be panthers6T with strongbow and black tho not the actual name of the drink!

Of my attempts at names the one that amused me most of all was Panthers Slash ;D At first glance it was relevant then the connotations relating to how it might taste surfaced :-))))))) how I laughed........ I know little things, little minds. Others I hesitate to post are ... Fangs for the Memory ( quite pertinant that one to both the time of year and our recent thread on greatest moments) but bad, very bad all the same, Hair of the Panther, Panther Restorative ( sounds like big cat with a bad case of hair loss ;D) Restoration Pride and finally Anniversary Pride. I will get my coat now.:-)

I may be a bit dozy today but Selmar??? Selmar Odelein In a nutshell he was a big bloke, played for Panthers, gave Mike Rowe a bit of a hiding, moved to Sheffield. His name means shiny helmet (now there's a name for a beer)
