I am not sure if the shop you talk about is any good. Just an Idea for you, see how much it will be to ship Vapour 40's from Canada. I know you have to take into account the shipping but somethimes it can be cheaper

Thanks for the reply dodyfan, i can ship them for 350 USD but im not sure if i need a D or EE width! Ive tried the D's and the feel a bit tight so i was going to give the EE's a try but nobody in the UK can seem to get them in, which i think is down to the new vapor line coming out in April. Thanks anyway though!

i pretty much only go to the Den.
the staff are super helpful, if they dont have in stock the item you need, they'll order it for you, without giving you hardly any info, i cant praise them enough. they dont have a great selection and it is a small shop, but they are moving premises onto bigger and better shop space.
bennett, i'd definitely look into using them. i recently bought some brand new ccm vector 8 shoulders from there, should have been 90 sheets, got them for 40.

Defo worth a look fella, different class to the NIC to be honest. The guys name is John.
I wear 40s, absolutely love them. I wouldnt pay RRP for them though tbh

I've bought stuff form the den as have a few of my friends. They're definitely cheaper than the NIC and Puckstop. As has already been said, John is sound and will order pretty much whatever you want at very short notice.

I'll vouch for them as well! Excellent skate grinds, great quality of service and always willing to help. I sometimes swing past just for a chat! Ordering products in only takes a few days max usually for them. Puck Stop sometimes take months!

if puckstop get back to you at all!
The skate grinds are really well done and always pretty sharp. The guy knows what he is doing.
For guys starting out (so probably doesnt apply to you bennett!) they do second hand equiptment as well.
Id recommend it if you know 100% what you want cos as has been said, selection is a bit limited in the store

but then as has been said he will order anything you want in if he does not have it and it will be there very quickly, unlike puckstop where they say they will order you stuff but then either order the wrong stuff or just lie and dont order it at all

Popped into the Hockey Den for the first time this week to get a stick and some gloves and the chap in there was really helpful.
I was after some second-hand gloves as I'm only just getting into actually playing hockey rather than just watching it, but they didn't have any in a suitable size for me so he knocked a few quid of some new ones to split the difference, can't complain at that.
