TV Rubbish not on most channels lately, with Mad Men, 24, Heroes, Lost, Ice Road Truckers, and soon the return of the Apprentice, and probably Dragons Den. Have to add though ITV is rubbish at the moment!

The Cloughie doc is still listed as 'coming soon' so prob in about 2 weeks I think. I hear it's based on the book that the Clough family are up in arms about? More importantly - I missed part 1 of Red Riding with the fabulous Sean Bean in it!! (Arguably the only decent Sheffield export ever ) Am v unhappy. I had recorded Billy chuffin Connoly roaming round some bit of land somewhere instead. Off to sulk....

Just finished watching Dexter season 2. Next on my list is Dexter season 3.
I'm watching Heroes Season 3 too, the first half of which almost made me give up on Heroes all together, but the second half seems to be a bit more similar in style to Season 1 so it has a reprieve for now.
I enjoyed 24 seasons 1-3 so seasons 4-7 (or until I give up on it) are also on the list.
I've seen several trailers, blurbs, reviews etc. on Lost and it just doesn't interest me.
I've just watched a few trailers to give me an idea of what else should be on my list and based on what I've seen so far I am/am not interested in the following: The Wire, Prison Break, Reaper, The Shield, Weeds, Pushing Daisies. None of which I've seen any of.
I know that lot should keep me busy for a while, but any other suggestions?

Lost is the best programme i've ever watched, but The Wire is damn good. Fairly big in America too.

Prison Break - The first season is superb entertainment. The second and third seasons are also highly entertaining as long as you don't take it too seriously. Pushing Daisies - Utterly fabulous. A crime against humanity that it was cancelled. Just give it a few episodes and you'll love it.

My faves on TV at the moment are: Dexter, Not Going Out, Whitechapel (which has just finished but was AWESOME), plus theres always Family Guy, Miami Ink...............Harry Hill, Live at the Apollo................
What annoys me is that i really want to watch 24 but they never seem to show the first series so theres no point in me watching it! Been waiting for about 2 years but no luck yet!
As the Wire has been mentioned, i've heard its really good but not watched it yet. A friend said its as good as the Sopranos - but NOTHING is that good!

you think i'd be pimping the show if it was a bag of nails? Assuming that's a bad thing, then no, quite unlikely. I'll probably give it a go at some stage.

If you have Virgin cable you can watch the first series on demand at the moment, I think.
