Have you dropped a mail to Vicky on the travel email address??
That is your best bet mate, I only update on here what I am told needs going on. None of the NPSC members post on here now.

Sorry, but that's a very wild statement to say 'None of the NPSC members post on here now'So why is there an advert for their trip? I am a member of the NPSC and I post on here, as do several other members of the NPSC. If there is some sort of animosity between the NPSC and the Cage Forum, perhaps you would be good enough to explain what it is all about. You make it sound as though the Cage Forum has somehow upset the NPSC, and as a Cage Forum moderator, I would like to know what is going on. Thanks. Lucy

I'm also a member and post on here frequently. I suspect Rob means committee member which is (or should be) a very different thing! I would also like to know why they choose not to post and/or read messages on the Cage. Whilst the Cage may not be representative of all Panthers fans it does have a broad spectrum of ideas and thoughts that surely the NPSC could benefit from at least being aware of. For reasons which I'm not going to make public on here, I feel that the NPSC is suffering from some communication issues at the moment and they are not helping that situation by avoiding the main fans forum. twix

I don't think the NPSC committee are 'avoiding' the Cage as such - after all, Barbara posted on here and kept people updated. But she's retired from the committee now. Maybe the other long-standing committee members simply don't spend much time online (let's face it - an awful lot of people don't... nothing wrong with that). Maybe one of the new committee members will take over that role - I don't know.
But I don't think there's any avoidance or rejection going on.

I believe they've removed the link to their site frm the Cage... That was indeed the case. I put the link to the NPSC site on originally as the more people who are aware of it the better. In due course there was a request to update the link, then subsequently a request to remove it. That was in the wake of this year's committee meeting as I remember. A curious state of affairs - the hockey world is too small for schisms.

Blooming heck, I go away for one day and all hell breaks loose! Lucy, I am surprised and disappointed at your public outburst, I would have thought you would have contacted me privately to dicuss any matters, especially being a forum moderator.
Twix is right, I did indeed mean Committee Members, not NPSC members. That is my bad for that typo. AFAIK, Barb was the only one who posted on here to update members as such. I am not aware of any other Committee peeps who read/post here.
As I am looking after the site, I have kinda been doing it, but I am not on the committee so can't answer some of the questions, hence I posted the correct address for correspondance for members who had questions. I will raise it with the committee to see if something can be sorted in future.
Also, AFAIK, there is no animosity or tension between the Cage and the NPSC. Why should there be? Sure, the NPSC has to be careful as they are after all an official organisation, whereas the Cage is not, but from what I can I tell the two can quite happily live together.
I know I have not been around very long but that is how I see it.
If anyone has any concerns or issues, feel free to add me to MSN to discuss any problems.
Finally, Twix, can you drop me a line on MSN mate if you use it, if not an email will do. I am eagar to iron out any communication issues and your feedback would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Rob

Sorry if i'm covering an old subject, I have looked at the thread and can't find anything.
The bus is full and we are only early July - Will the NPSC put on another bus ?
I have 5 possibly 7 people wanting to go - organised rather than having the hassle of booking everything seperate. Surely if there is enough interest in a 2nd bus ... why not ?

I'm sure the NPSC are only runing one bus as last time. As Brenda has said in her thread there are still at least that many places left on that bus which would save you booking independently.
