Are there any major Panthers moments (good or bad) that for one reason or another you weren't present to witness?
Sir Robert Nordmark Day for me. I couldn't get the time off work. Actually going in was a complete waste of time because I spent the whole time listening in the radio and not actually being able to do anything through nerves. I went a bit mad when we won but it wasn't the same as being there.

Never saw Panthers win in Durham or Fife, despite going there loads of times. Seeing us win in either of those rinks would have been major for me, given how many times I saw us lose there.
The first game I missed in Fife for nearly four seasons was when we won 12-3 (or was it 12-6 - can't remember right now) and I can still remember the gleeful phone call from my mate telling me about Fred Perlini's almost single-handed demolition of the Flyers.

there are 2 from before i was a fan of the sport that i wished i would've seen: 1-bench clearance 2-winning the cc in the house of tin
And i also missed us winning the playoffs 2 seasons ago, gutted.

I missed our first proper win over Sheffield at the Death Star. I'd been there for a pre season tournament when we beat them 4-3 in a two period running clock game but for a reason I don't remember I decided not to go up for a B&H Cup group game in 1995. We won 4-3 and didn't win there again for another year.

The only thing for me really was not being born to see us win the league Lol.
94,96,98 cup wins were all special. I guess missing the playoffs in 98 was a big disappointment but watching it with family and friends on sky was a very close 2nd to being there

I lost the will to watch another game of hockey after that game! The main reason we have penalty shots to decide games nowdays, even the fittest player on the team (Bobyck) lost something stupid like 7lbs in one game!) The bench clearance was something else. The whole atmosphere that night was massive, I remember sitting in my seat before face off and thinking something special might happen, and boy it did!

Oddly the one I would have liked to have seen was when you guys knocked Newcastle out of the playoffs spots with the last shot of the game. I'm a glutton for punishment, but I love sporting drama like that.

I deliberately decided not to go to the Sheffield league game before the CC final this year, having seen the Panthers lose consistently against the Steelers I couldn't bring myself to go and see it again... First time I've chosen not to go to a home game since the start of the 2006 season, and what happens?! 6-1... D'you think I could maybe get Corey to sponsor me to stay away more often?

I thought that game was one of the most incredible I have ever seen. Yes it was crazy it went on for so long, but was sheer entertainment for a neutral (ish, I spent a lot of the game singing flower of scotland with the Ayr fans!)

The most annoying thing about that night was that the food and drink kiosks closed mid way through the third period. There was still half the game to go!

Well, I've only been going to games for the last 2 seasons, and so far that's probably the greatest moment I haven't missed However, I'm still gutted that I didn't manage to get to the PlayOffs in 2007 (couldn't really afford it at the time) and spent the weekend at home with my family listening to the commentary on the radio instead But at least I was there the weekend before to see us beat Shuff in the home leg of the quarter final... ;D

The game did slow a bit (not suprisingly!), but was still amazing as there were so many chances for both sides. Can imagine it was hard watching when its your team though. Like I say I was a sort of neutral!

That game was incredible with 5 mins to go we were 3 goals down and Ayr fans (who incidentally were sat next to us) were celebrating getting to the final surprisingly enough got quieter and quieter ... last 5 mins was a great game as a panthers fan having been outplayed for the rest of it... overtime was mindnumbing by the end and it got to the point i just didnt care who scored... As for games missed the 4.4 seconds game for me, we were going to go and then bottled it - B U G G E R... and the other i would have like to see was the 5-0 at sheffield when they were unbeatable (and we won the fights too by all accounts)....
