Something needs to be done sharpish. I was unfortunate to attend the Peterborough game (though I had free tickets so it's not all bad) and although we attacked well, we just seemed to be lacking something when it came to defending. Was crap in the end, but it could have been worse. How? I could have paid ;D

Give Calderwood until the end of the month. No significant improvement in that time and he's got to go.
We've got the most expensive squad in the division, the injuries excuse therefore doesn't wash in my opinion.

We've only really got three players on the sidelines now. Lockwood ought to join Cohen in the squad for the Vale match too. God knows what's up with Davies though.
He's got three games for me. Maximum points or he's out.

Maximum points or he's out. Don't be silly... if he takes 7 points from he next 3 games we'll be catching up. Davies is supposed to back at the end of the month.

It's a massive if though Sunbeam. We look poor, we're getting no better despite getting players back. Can you honestly say he's taking this team forward?

What I'm saying is we should have enough quality in the remaining players to take up the slack. Is the poor start down to players or the manager? There seems to be a consensus that Calderwood is unable to motivate a decent squad and is tactically inept, worryingly an opinion supported by plenty of Northhampton fans, who despite getting promoted under Calderwood weren't overly impressed by him. Calderwood has been backed financially and despite injuries should have a better record at the start of the season. Let's hope Forest turn the corner but if they don't how long should the manager be given?

You're right Mark. On paper, the side he has at his disposal should be enough to take us past Peterborough, Bournemouth and Bristol Rovers. However, his negative tactics, bemusing substitutions and apparetly uninspiring team talks are costing us.
I know it always seems like the manager is to blame, but in our case, it usually is.

Martin Allen was my choice if you recall. And he's available and loved Forest (going by his interview before the Forest/Leic game). I'd give him til the end of the month. Then I'd get Warnock if we still suck. Warnock would take great pleasure putting one over Leeds too.

Wow if you guys lose your next game and leeds win, we go ahead.
I dont quite understand though how your team has not clicked. You have the players. You have the right man in charge imo. But there seems to be something lacking. Some kind of togetherness or team spirit or well something. Ide of thought that the pressure of being a big gun was off you too. but it seems your putting pressure on yourself through just not performing.
Oh i dont know, i guess it's just a matter of time before things get rolling for you.

Play-off hangover??
However you would think that the results thus far would act as a sobering up jolt?
Plenty of time and points left for you yet and no need to panic.
