Leeds have gone into administration, been deducted 10 points and had their relegation to League One confirmed (a good idea to take the -10 points this year and avoid starting with it next year considering they had no chance of staying up without a 10 or so swing in goal difference).
Wow...
I didn't think there could possibly be a club crumble in the fashion Forest did to sink so low from such a lofty perch but whereas we did it in 25 years Leeds have managed it in 6...Champions League Semi Final to League one in 6 years.
Incredible, a sad state of affairs up in Yorkshire.

You've taken leeds down to league 1, You wont win a cup, you wont win a shield Your biggest match will be Huddersfield ;D

PMSL - the rest of Yorkshire is over the moon though! Personally I think it's a disgrace that they can be deducted the points this season - what kind of a punishment is that exactly?! I just want to see them suffer even more! I know it isn't against the rules or anything, but it's a great way to flaw the system! Ah, League 1 - what a lovely place....

i feel sorry for some of the fans, but it couldnt have happened to a nicer club ;D
I wish that would have been enforced next year as starting a new season in league ten points down would have been even better.

We are leeds we are leeds we are leeds, we are hated by all but loved by the faithful, cause are Leeds and proud of that. Nomatter what is thrown our way our support will never fail, the end of an era, the start of a new one. So you all hate us do you? We thrive on that hatred, it's always been that way, everyone hates leeds, blah blah blah, same old tune but i wouldnt have it any other way! We may be down to another league, but the likes of man city have been down here and gotten back up, who knows we could do just that, and now we are debt free, investers might just come aknocking on our door. Hopefully forrest will fail again to league league one and i can go see them play

The decision to deduct the points this season is a disgrace, how is it a penalty at all?

i actually quite like Leeds, great stadium, brilliant support. would prefer Leeds with there big crowds in a decent ground in the Prem than Shef Utd and Bramall Lane anyday.
i try not to laugh at other peoples misfortunes, what goes around.....
i especially wouldnt if i was a Blades fan

Oh well, some people hate Leeds
;D
As for not laughing at others misfortunes...Forest found themselves in a similar position to Leeds a few years ago, and no one gave us sympathy as the club made it's own mess. Paul Hart went public and said there were several clubs in the same position as Forest and given what has happened to Leeds, I wonder where the next club melt down is...?

Cardiff - H - 18,246 Wolves - H - 16,268 Birmingham - H - 18,898 Leicester - H - 16,477 Southend - H - 10,449 Colchester - H - 17,678 Preston - H - 18,433 Yeh, superb support! Combine that with their disgusting hooligan element and you have a thoroughly embarrassing support. 200,000 applications for the play-off final and then 16,000 against Wolves! Fairweather fans if you ask me.

They'll be giving away tickets next year!
Maybe they should try the Bradford season ticket thing...if double the number of people buy season tickets, everyone gets them for half price. It works out at about £130 or summat daft like that! It sounds a good idea to me - better atmosphere and all that!
That stadium is far too good for a League 1 outfit.

Alright saying all that dribble, but when you see the prices bates was charging per ticket ude understand why they didnt have the fans there, premiership prices for bottom of championship was a discrace. Plus the fact that police limited our crowds to 32k for "sell outs". As for hooligans, just look at other teams around for that same thing so dont give me that poo poo here!

Leeds attendances, considering their catchment area, are truely dire.
The footballing world hates Leeds mainly because of their fans imo, who are seen as arrogant and/or hooligans (not saying they all are but ive never met a Leeds fan who doesnt fit into one of these catagories)
How many clubs in the country would have had fans attempting to get their last home game of the season abandoned by running onto the pitch and then to top it off start fighting with each other?
I felt sorry for Forest when they dropped down, i even felt slightly sorry for Wednesday but Leeds.... nope.

Cynical cheating of the hangman. Only a miracle would have saved Leeds from the drop so they kill two birds with one stone.
Drop em to the fourth division.

i like the comments from ex chairman (?) Risdale in an interview he did after he saw this. My favourite line was 'this wouldnt have happened if i was still chairman' - now who started their downfall peter?

The ticket prices are high, but they are at Forest too, the crowds keep coming there. Other teams may hooliganise (is that a word? It is now) but it doesn't make it right.

Yes i am a leeds fan, and the ticket prices are double that of forrest i guarantee, and we dont do that kids for a quid thing or whatever it was either.
As for the hooliganism, i was not infering that it's right, i was trying to say it's not leeds all the time, just like in europe with manu and others, sometimes trouble is attracted to them not them looking for it.

Double...So Leeds tickets are £50?? I'm not doubting that yours are expensive dude, but you're not alone An average game against a smaller side is about £20, the same as Forest.
