Rumours that Slava could well be heading our way.
I dont usually go in for this rumours thing,.. but I do know one of the wifes of a current Hull player and she has just told me that Slava could well be with Nottingham next year.
I have no reason to doubt her information, she's not a wind up merchant.
Apparentley he is "undecided" and thinking it over this week.
Take it as you find it.

decent player, good assister, not so much a goalscorer so will probably be a decent 3rd/2nd liner. Welcome if he signs, but if not we'll just sign Mark Smith instead

Sure I read somewhere that he's classed as a Brit because he moved here so young and learned to play over here.
Might be wrong - but if he's classed as a Brit then he'd be a good signing I reckon.

Not a bad player, similar in many respects to Kalmikov. It's impossible to judge how good he could be as he hasn't played with any higher standard players than himself at hull and so it's hard to say what he could achieve with an ahl centre on his line.
he was a good asset at Sokol Kiev.

Slava posted 9+26 for Stingrays. When you consider they only scored 129 goals, he had a hand in over a quarter of them.
Would be a very good signing for us.

He is classed as a Brit because he spent most of his junior development in the UK.
He would be a reasonable addition, but speaking to someone I know from Hull he is very inconsistent. As long as he comes at the right price he could be worth a place on the roster.

if he could even match his points from last season in what would be a better side then he'd be a great addition, even if he is inconsistent.

Slava is defiatley classed as a Brit, he always has, he came over here in 1993 when his dad signed for Humberside Seahawks (his dad was a great player but when we got him he was too old) Slava styed in Hull, played for the junior set ups and has always been classed as a Brit, he married a British Woman and has a kid to her, which cemented his British citizenship.
On his day he is a world beater.........BUT..... he can be very very lazy, and when things dont go his way he sulks.
IF you sign him, make sure he is fit, as that has been his downfall in recent years, coming back over 20 lbs overweight.
Ellis knows all about him, he has played against him for the past 8 years.
