Of the Brits I would love to see Clarke, Meyers and Myers back, I think that Matty has a big decision to make with him finishing his University course this summer. Does he carry on playing at elite level or take on a new full time surveying career which may mean he can only do hockey at a lower level. Though he did manage it on his year out last season.
Meyers I think is almost definate as he has stated this in the NEP a few weeks ago, and Im sure ME wants him he's made great progress this year.
As for Clarky Panthers have to do all they can to make sure he stays, there is no other British player who will give you 70 pts a season, Im sure he has enjoyed being Skipper too.
As for the other brits the James's Id have them back too, Im sure they dont cost too much and have shown they can do a job making other teams top lines skate and grind out in the corners.

We'll never get Gallant fella, he's too good.
I'd hope he'd start with the captain and work from there. I kinda hope it's not Rasto too, he's been a good servant this year but i'd look to see if there is better (cruickshank!!!) out there first.

I delove rasta back for his fun factor mainly, but i feel he is at the later end of his career and can be abit slow at getting back to his feet. Where as i feel a younger talented version of him would do better, im sure rasta knows of a goalie like that he could send our way after all he is a goaltender coach back home Ide love for Shmyr to be the signing though

I know im going to get slaughted for this but i think Rasto is over ratred and i feel people want him for his personality!! I think we can get a better goalie who is 10 years younger at the same price!! Mind you he wont be a good at saving penaltys just ask Vez and Sutter!! ;D

Did you see some of the saves he made when we beat Sheffield? ?? I would love Rees back, but the Angry version of him we have seen since he returned from his broken foot. He's what every team needs, a small(ish) guy who will wind people up. And he's a very solid D-man to boot!

I am not saying he is rubbish and i not saying he is amazing but he is a good goalie but people belive that he is a world beater!!

No-one's saying Rasto is a world beater but you can't deny the effect he's had on the team and fans since his arrival!!
OK he may not be a young spring chicken BUT, he can save goals, he's an entertainer in the net AND after the game. Don't underestimate the effect he has had on raising the spirits of the team and the fans. There is more to saving a game than getting a glove in the way of a puck........

Gallant would want about 40k for the year and with our wage budget that's too much just for one player. Cruickshank. He does have the consentration to be a hockey goalie. How many times has he always let one in at the end of the game and cost us 2 points. I for one wouldn't want him back.

In the CC versus Rasto debate, basing it on this season, with the quicker standard of hockey Rasto GP 29 GAA 2.43 Save % 92.3 CC (basingstoke) GP 41 GAA 3.15 Save % 91.2
On stats alone i'd prefer rasto let alone on personality!
