Sounds like just what the sport needs. I sincerely hope that certain people and owners of clubs are able to put past differences aside and grasp what looks like a huge chance to move the sport forward. There's obvious bickering and dislike between teams at the moment in our own league (us and Sheffield spring to mind) but we get on with things and co-operate because we need to and because it's to all our advantages (or at the level of fans because in many cases we're mates). I'd hope the same is true with any potential new members. The sport's not big enough to lose any first class teams because their owners have problems with other owners.
Personally I look forward to welcoming the players and fans of the same teams as this year and of course the Phoenix to the NIC for the 2005/2006 season.

HL, I know you weren't saying Fife shouldn't join the EIHL - that wasn't what I was getting at. What I objected to was your statement that Fife have publicaly been against the EIHL Sorry Cunndies. I see where your coming from, didnt for one moment mean to suggest that Fife IHC objected to the EIHL, its a bit of taring everyone associated with the club with the same brush aint it I stand corrected on a poorly worded comment. Now wheres me book ' The guide on forum writing,,, Regards HL
