Having heard about Simms antics at the weekend towards Shaggy and myself, just a quick thanks to those of you who have posted and contacted me to say that they thought Simms was out of order launching a personnal attack on the radio.
To be honest with you its water off a ducks back when Simms has a go at me, its the rough and tumble of forum life, but I was dissapointed that he decided to go beyond the Forum platform to be personal. Some one said that was cowardly, and I have to say to use the radio to launch personnal attacks is cowardly. I think Simms has lost the plot. With all the problems at Sheffield, it seems like a case of 'Fiddling when Rome's burning' by Simms when concentrating on us.
He has abused his position as an Official of the Steelers to spout his hate and vitriole towards the Panthers generally, prehaps his position as an Official is to be further abused to make more personnal attacks in the future.
Before last weekend I had prearranged with some of the Steelers fans to go up to the Steelers v London game. Following last weekends incident I contacted Simms to meet up with him at the game to discuss our differences and hockey in general. He declined the invitation. I suspect I'll probably get more abuse at the match now he knows I'm going.
As for the future as long as Simms continues to show contempt and hate towards my team and its fans I will continue to give him a hard time.
I know some Sheffield fans who come on this forum don't like Simms being questioned , but if you dont like me forcing Simms own medicine down his throat then thats tough I'm afraid.
