Congratulations from another Steeler...Thoroughly deserved I think. Most of the Panthers fans I saw over the weekend will vouch that I was with you guys 100% and loved every minute of it ;D ;D Indeed! In fact the photo of you on the BBC Nottingham site has the caption "Panthers fans at the NIC" . THanks Kai and the other Steelers(Panthers) fans for your comments and hugs Oh well, least your lot took it as a laugh, unlike some of the Steelers fans! Still yet to work out whether I actually want that title editing..hehe Good to see you again anyway Twix! ;D Best birthday present ever!!!! Wow what a weekend. Glad the penalties are on You Tube as I couldn't bear to watch, spent most of the time hiding behind my jersey!!!! Thanks to the guys behind us for the champagne shower. Not stopped smiling since. Oh and Grumpy says don't get drunk when your GIRLFRIEND is likely to wake you at 6 in the morning (just coz its her birthday and she's excited). Now I need to go back to find my voice as that is definitely still in block 7 coz I can't find it this morning!!!! A big thank you to Panthers players, coaches, and fans and all the fans from around the country that came to make the weekend what it was. I believe I was stood behind you mrsminer during the celebrations! Hope you have a good bday!

A bit weird for me.
There is a regular feature, in the Observer Sports Monthly I think, which they call 'Frozen in Time' where they print a photo of a famous sporting moment and dissect it. Well, I have my own Frozen in Time moment now, which is Rastislav on his knees, arms in the air after saving the crucial shot. I had a clear view and it's burned in my memory. I will never forget it.
The actual moment was a bit strange because as soon as it happened it was back to my bits of paper, getting sheets filled in signed off and copied etc etc. It was only about half an hour later that what we had achieved hit me. Then I had a complete moment today when I got the Post and there was that fantastic picture of Rasto with McAslan charging over to him.
Interestingly, the first time I did the bench for a Championship weekend was.....1989. Hope its not so long before we lift the trophy again.

We've got a theory Stef - when you go on the ale, after you've had 6 or 7 pints, you go for a pee and then you have to keep going every five minutes. That's what it'll be for Panthers - we've built up to it and now all we can do is keep winning. All we can do is dream....

I am genuinely pleased for you all. It's a great feeling isn't it. I stayed and enjoyed all the celebrations before going in to the press conference, I could see the emotion in your faces. It's been a long wait. Enjoy it. See you all soon. Thanks Nem. We fans appreciate it from supporters of all the clubs but from our 'nearest and dearest' its so much sweeter. Strangely enough I have received a text message on my mobile from a female steelers fan from my village (having never spoken to her) congratulating the Panthers adding she was gutted. Lovely touch but unsure hows shes obtained my number

You'd like to think you could win it once in a while, seeing as you have home advantage. The thing's a farce, to keep the English teams winning.

Dan Tessier goes up to Dave Simms and says "Dave, i need a new club"
Simmsy is understandably bemused, "why" he asks..
Tessier replies, "I broke my 8-iron on Saturday!"
