Just happen to have a copy of "The Star", but I think the guy who wrote the article was else where at the time. Lots of coverage of the beer chucking incident and Blaisedell says he was spat on. It says that "Bronsard agile and alert "when required" and " what a surprise it was when panthers scored!, Quotes of "Sheffield led assults on panthers goal which made you wonder where Nottinghams home pride had gone". "But you have to recognise that winning away from home is not essential" Im sure it made the steelers fans feel better even if thats not actually what they saw!

The hardest I've seen the Panthers work in a long time. Here's hoping.

Lots of positives from last night ... enough to keep the dream alive for some success next week. The whole team gave 100% and we can't ask for more than that. A great game. Great atmosphere too ... right til the end. Loudest I've heard us for a long time ... not bad for a mid week game?! Think it was DodgyRat playing choir master over our side of the arena ... well done dude! A shame off-ice antics took the shine off the evening, still ... I hope that was a one off and we won't witness scenes like that again. Bring on St Patrick's day! ... Come on YOU Panthers!

I don't have any stats to back this up, so it's off the top of my head, see if you agree...... Am i right in saying that everytime we outshoot the Steelers we lose, and every time they out shoot us we seem to get a result???

Am i right in saying that everytime we outshoot the Steelers we lose, and every time they out shoot us we seem to get a result??? You might be right. If you chase the game against the Steelers then they catch you on the break. And they are very good on the break. Hold back so that they have to make some of the running and there is a chance you can find some space or catch them on the break. It's not the quantity of shots that counts, more the quality (and the conversion ratio of course).

Well that's Wednesday afternoon now booked off for me, so it looks like a few pints of the black stuff in Sheffield before heading down to the Enfield on the Supertram.
According to Simmsey last night, almost 6,000 tickets have already been sold, so it looks like it could be a very big crowd, let's hope so.
Regards

KEEP ON PRAYING TO THE GODS. ;D I hope that dreams do come true as I had one the other night that we thrashed them in their own arena. Can't remember the score, apart from the fact we got 6 and they got significantly less (but not a shut out). Oh boy, did it taste sweet seeing that trophy (not that I have a clue what it looks like for real), I hated waking up!
