Has anyone wore #71 for us before.
I am aware that when youngsters are called up they sometimes wear it but i mean for a whole season has a regular player in the team.

Mostly youngsters as you say Spike;
Adam Robinson in 2002-03
Sean Yardley, Rhys McWilliams, Darren Cotton , Jason Buckman and Lewis Buckman in 2003-04
but the average age is knocked up a couple of decades by the illustrious Nicky Chinn who had half a dozen games or so, also in 2003-04.
I'm sure Stef will amend this as necessary.

It seems to be the "spare number" the club get produced every year for any youngsters who fill in for a game or two.
In this case, we have signed an import very late in the day. As we all know from trying to buy replicas, it takes about three years to get a Panthers shirt from the suppliers and so he has to wear the spare.
Unless, by coincidence, 71 is his usual number.

He was 11 at Manchester, but was/is 71 at Straubing, so yes, it's his usual number at the moment. I don't know about Bad Nauheim in between.

I'm sure Stef will amend this as necessary. No pressure there, then.
