Because I am dedicated/an anorak/sad, depending on your point of view, I have just finished going through all my scoresheets listing what numbers have been worn by which players from 1980 up to the end of last season. It is not a comprehensive list as I don't have every scoresheet but I reckon I've got most of them.
I'll start posting them shortly. In the meantime, you might want to amuse yourselves by listing the 39 numbers from 1 - 99 that have not been worn on a Panthers shirt since 1980. Or if you're really smart the 60 that have.
I should add that I have come across a few things that had completely slipped from my memory and hopefully this absurdly time consuming exercise will provoke some interesting thoughts from fellow Cagesters.

I don't recall any player wearing #69, although at least one of the fans regularly wears this shirt in block 6

Jono & Nutty missed 93 Rick Brebant, 94 Darryl Easson & I'm pretty sure Dave Graham wore 29 but don't quote me on that.

In recent history Casson Masters 38, Greg Burke 20, Alan Levers 1, Darryl Moxam 19, Darryl Lavoie 16, Marc Levers 18, Ryan Gillis 23 and Chris Baxter 25. Come to think of it, most of that team are missing bar the old faithfuls. Wasn't he of Newcastle fame number 31 not 39? Slightly further back Steve Butler 18, 30 or 31 depending on season and venue, and Mario Belanger 94 (??) without looking. Jim Mathieson 6, Nienhuis 29.... Sorry I'm being dull again.....

Chris Kelland wore #21 & Kord Cernich & Jim Paek both wore #24...Pretty sure Pekka Virta wore the #9 jersey too, and Matt Trickett wore #11
Jarrett Zukiwsky wore #91, Ian Young wore #18 despite being a goalie. Kalmikov wore #19, as opposed to his usual #18. Kolesar wore #17 if I remember correctly.

Didn't Mr. Weber start his Panthers career at No.5? I'm not sure about that but I think he wore 44 for a while.
