Gary Newbon - A legend in his own imagination ;D Fun times indeed. Anyone on the list remember that 6-6 tie with Fife at the Stadium when they had the three Czechs, Lukac, Kokrement & Figala. What a game

In no particular order: Brebant's return to LPS with Newcastle, and being checked almost over the boards, and through thetrawler netting, by Graham Waghorn. Mike Blaisdell's hat trick in the 7-2 B&H cup win over Devils at Sheffield. Simon Hunt receiving a penalty from a referee, andhaving to be held back by his team mates because he didn't agree ;D Panthers beating Sheffield 5-4 in OT during the 2003-04 season, especially as Sheffield led 3-0 at one point. Blazer coming back as our coach ;D ;D My first Panthers' game at LPS way back in september 1993, against Solihull Barons

Can anyone remember Jimmy Keyes bagging 5 goals against Durham wasps in a 6 - 3 win back in the late 80's?

thought that the 6-6 tie with london knights about three years ago was a very good and memorable night, eg 5-1 down going into teh last period and then we score 5 un answered goals to take the lead only for london to tie the game in the last minute

I forgot the 5-5 tie with Humberside, I believe in the 1994/95 season. End to end game

In no particular order:snip - Mike Blaisdell's hat trick in the 7-2 B&H cup win over Devils at Sheffield. Still got three video tapes from that era, which includes that win over the Devils. One of them also has Hunty's 6 against the Racers in the semi ;D

1987 when i was 7 and had just started playing... Used to go down with my dad and get tickets from people selling them outside! Never failed...
Used to love seeing the different colours of the different teams.... Stretham Redskins?, Whitley wariors, Cleveland bombers??, Ayr Bruins, Durham Wasps, (when the North East was a fortress of hockey)...
When ever the panthers scored, the roof used to go off and the noise would hurt my ears.... Everyone would be standing up and i couldnt see anything because i was too small!!
The corridor round the rink would be absolutely chokka and everybody knew everybody.... Those hotdogs were great aswell... Then there was the Organ (cant remember the guy who played its name) and the sweet shop...
Bremner, kurtenbach, frazer... My faves
See, there was a panthers supporter in me once!!

Anyone remember a 19-7 win over the Streatham Redskins just before Christmas in 1988? They'd been our nemesis for years, boy did I enjoy that result. In retrospect it's a shame that this once great club disappeared soon after. They had one of the best junior programmes in the country.
