Boston Bruins for me. First hockey videogame i played with my mate always put the Bruins as the default team and it just stuck. That was a few years ago. When I properly got into ice hockey and into the Panthers I was especially pleased that the Bruins and the Panthers both have gold and black as their colours Also have a soft spot for Montreal Canadiens as I have some family in Canada and they support the Canadiens.

I've supported the Rangers ever since my first trip to New York in 1995.
Managed to see them at MSG twice in 1999.

As "Shin" has stated, I'm a Maple Leaf fan!!!!! An proud, yes we are PANTS at the moment but, Hey! Let's face it, most teams go though "lean years" it's just that ours has lasted longer than most!!!!!!!
I'm a leaf because they were the first team I saw, I was on holiday in T.O. and got tickets and we beat the Dallas Stars 4-ZIP and this was when the Stars were at there peak coming off a a summer with Lord Stanley!

Toronto Maple Leafs.....Don't know why.....just do. May be because one of my favourite bands are from there. I support the Canadian teams over the US teams, except for Dallas, cos I've been there. Would like to see Anaheim get to the Final, win it and bring the Cup in September.

Im a Devils Fan here, ive always loved the NHL but never really followed a team until a year or so ago, Went to NYC for a hols. Ended up having a suprise visti to see NJ Devils Vs Islanders at the continental arena in rutherford. Loved the arena, love the game (went into penalty shots) and well fell in love with the whole Devils package.
On same trip i did also go to MSG and see Rangers vs Sabres, great game too, would recomend going to MSG anyday.
But yeah the team i now follow is New Jersey Devils!

Re-building so don't expect anything until 2008-09. Just you wait till Stralman becomes an NHL regular. New. Niklas. Lidstrom.

Not a huge NHL fan compared to some on here but my team is the Dallas Stars. No idea why really.
I also look out for the Utah Grizzlies (formerly IHL, now ECHL) because I have been to see them play and was made extremely welcome by the fans I met there. Also because I like grizzly bears.

i support the mighty ducks mainly because of the amazing teemu selanne. Also think the partnership he had with paul kariya a few years back was incredible.

Chicago.
Best shirt. Best stadium until they knocked it down. Never win anything so you always have hope.

The Flyers. Simply because I was a big fan of Eric Lindros and the "Legion of Doom" line.

When I first took an interest in the NHL I adopted the Wild - simply because I liked their logo. Even so I didn't take a close interest (other than guiding them to the Stanley Cup Final in EA Sports NHL game some years back ;D) - the North West Division saw precious little coverage on Channel 5. When I went to Banff a few years back I had the chance to go to a game in Calgary and hence forth became a Flames fan (sorry Fraggle ) - a Canadian team on the edge of the Alberta mountains - it just seemed the natural thing to do. And they were pretty useless at the time as well, which tied in rather neatly with Panthers! Having subscribed to NASN I've got to see a fair few Flames in recent years - and good value they've been for the most part - the North West Division produces some great hockey all season long!

It's ok MP - somebody's gotta love the Flames - poor things....
I'm a Leafs fan cos I would kill to live in Toronto - it's my fave place in the whole wide world, first time I was there was playoff time (one of the recent times when Leafs actually made the playoffs!) and the City was mental!
I need my bro to move back out there so I can go on cheap holls again!

Calgary Flames for me. Was on a skiing holiday in Banff and did a trip to the 'dome. Been a couple of times since and am going to retire there. It's always amused me that Canadian teams fans have their own rivalries (eg Battle of Alberta etc), but are all united in their dislike of the Leafs. It makes Leafs fans very bitter you know Fraggle. Saw them before I saw a Panthers game.
