5-2 now! Kyle Calder with a double, he's really hitting some form now.
You think your injuries are bad? We've got Forsberg, Pitkanen, Gauthier, Richards and Sanderson out. At least you've got some quality left with your lot out.

At least you've got some quality left with your lot out. With the exception of Sundin & Kaberle, who are you refering too? The rest of the team are a bunch of AHLers ;D

Mrs = Rangers Fan Me = SENS fan
I get bragging rights in our house (& probably a thick ear for my trouble) as SENS humble the NYR @ Madison Square Gardens

We're playing pretty well against Pittsburgh here.
Don't want to jinx it, but Sid hasn't scored yet!

Got beat 5-3 in the end, not quite good enough as usual. Still, the Leafs lost 6-1, ouch.

Sens beat Montreal 8 - 3, to go 5th in the Eastern conf. Watched the Leafs game on NASN, it was actually a good game...if you weren't a Leafs fan.

Toronto were more than competitive in the 1st period against Vancouver but Luongo stone walled us. 6-1 doesn't tell the whole story as the Leafs were let down (again) by Raycroft and while injuries are part & parcel of the game, a team isn't going to win consistently with so many AHLers in the line up. This season is a write off, but the young players like Colaiacovo, White, Stajan, Wellwood & Steen have shown enough signs of development that keeps me more than optimistic for the future. *edited for typos*

I thought you were fairly close to a play-off berth Shin? Two points out of the final play off berth which is currently held by Tampa. We aren't going to make the play offs, but the draft this year is a deep one so I don't care about this season.

Re the draft, i heard it was a pretty shallow one this year. Obviously nobody of the quality of Ovechkin, Malkin or Crosby.

Leafs beat Sens 3-2 on a penalty shot by Johnny Pohl, although the plaudits go <again> to Raycroft for stellar play & a goal of gorgeous technique from Sundin. Great game for the neutral too & the Sens played a big part in it too but thankfully <for once> the Leafs prevailed. Four game winning streak!

One game winning streak! At least there's on team in the league we can beat consistently. For shame Atlanta!

Thats was a fantastic save. Top class. Keeps the run going how vital could that be at the end.
Canucks beat oilers 5-2 the other night, if anyone gets chance go on the canucks website and check the game highlights. at the start of the video kraijeck is on the receiving end of a huge check, looked painful. Canucks start taking revenge and overall looked a very entertaining game. The Sedin twins steal the show, one with a trick the other with 4 assists. 4th straight win against the oilers & leaves us 6-1-3 in the last ten.

Christ, what a save!
Flyers win again last night, tied it late and Gagne wins it in OT. Barring Panthers, it's been a good sporting weekend.

Just a shame that we started to try about 30 games too late!!
The last dozen or so games haven't been that desperate. (Not been brilliant either)

Not been to the awful standard of the first half of the season but at least we're showing some mettle. Can't remember the last time we won in OT!
