I read this on another thread on the eliteforum (i think it was!), i assume its just rubbish, and hope its rubbish. Why they'd realise anyone now is beyond logic (well apart from if Lemieux was bored at home in the US and fancied joinign Mckenna:D)

Okay ... maybe 'suicide' was a strong reaction ....
But very very worrying ...
Unless there's a couple of real stars waiting in the wings.
We've all noticed the team morale and the dividends that has brought of late, I'm not sure upsetting the apple cart at this moment in time is a good thing to do.

Hope it's wrong, but if no NHL might have someone ready to come in,I like Craighead, could think of others I'd rather see go, but you never know what goes on behind closed doors.

You drop an out-of-the-blue bombshell like this and expect NOT to get slated? You've heard a rumour, and you can't name names..... big wow, come back to us when (or more likely IF) you have something to back it up. If I listed every rumour like this I heard, we'd have people thinking we'd lost half the squad by now! There are rumours, there's wild speculation and there's poo poo-stirring...... now I wonder which of those this is? (BJ - we really need a 'taking a dump' smiley for situations like this.......)

I feel sick.......... but I don't believe that Panthers would do this at such a crucial time.
I know John has been visiting his friend in Manchester this weekend maybe they went to the HOS for a laugh instead of trawling through all those Manchester night clubs.....
Joking aside I hope this one's not true.

I dont think its true at all. Anyone else remember the rumour in the off season that said he was going to sign for Sheffield and wasnt going to return to Nottingham, but then he returned. I dont think the panthers will release him, as he is starting to play like the Craighead were use to seeing and he is getting goals again. With the panthers on form at the moment, and the steelers under performing, i dont think its possible he will go there. Just my opinion though.

No need to tone your previous reaction down BJ...it would be a ludricous thing to do..you don't mess with a winning team, that's why Tvrdon's departure, though handled not too well IMHO, was ultimately the right thing to do. Craighead along with other team members is playing sensibly and maximising his potential at the moment and in the past I've been far from his greatest fan. Heaven forbid there is a grain of truth in this.....

hope it aint true, but if it is true i assume they would get someone better, and craighead aint exactly been playing like he did last season, this year he has not been bodychecking people as much, and thats what he is good at

I've got to say I'd be gutted if this was true.
From September to December last season I thought he was a hockey god, then my opinion changed and I thought he was lazy, egotistical etc.,
I was not too happy when he came back and spent the first month or so of the season slating him, BUT what I love the most about hockey players is the one's who realize they need to change their came and do something about it. Craighead dropping down to the 3rd line was a revelation to both him and Wojciak/Myers who have both had their best month with us. Gone was the shoot shoot shoot me me me and in was the pass pass pass team team team. I think he has deserved Man of the Match more times in the last 6 weeks than he ever has done before.
That's turning your game around!!!!
I really hope this is not true, but there's always been many RUMOURS that he's a dressing room problem? they must of come from somewhere.
Anyway, here's hoping it's just rubbish!
