I was at the game - the puck had nothing to do with the incident. Not going to say much more about it - it was dangerous (obviously!) but accidental in terms of intent. IMO the damage Myers did to Kelman will be enough of a deterrent for him in this case. Hopefully the next match between the sides will not be affected by what happened. Also, fair play to Michael and his dad for talking to a few Giants fans after the Cardiff match. Hope to see a good crowd at the O for the next match anyway

You weren't at the game so don't criticise what you haven't seen. From what i was told **i take it you were not at the game either,so i guess the same would apply to you, dont make comments on something that you havent seen, but i take your point, players do play the puck high but as Tom S stated because its done a lot(or not) does not make it ok,its against the rules. In theory no players should carry sticks high but in live games i know it happens. My point being should the refs enforce the rule a bit more,ie warn players to keep the sticks down and if they persist in carrying them high, then impose the penalty.

Players are....or should be responsible for their sticks They are held accountable for their sticks even if they are sometimes a little lax in their responsibilities....

eg why he got 5+game
yes they are responsible for there stick but it doesn't mean every high stick should be a major penalty and a ban.
as 99% of the time it is an accident where you lose control of you stick.
