does anyone think this new euipmnt will be any good?? here a link to some of the euipment availble in march RBK KitAfter training on saturday morning me and bretters went into the shop at the NIC and the women in there had 3 of the RBK sticks, put it this way - were already waiting to buy one each ;D very nice composite stick. the one in the NIC was a intermediate size with left hand (datsyuk blade). but as soon as more right-handed gear is in, i can see them being very popular!

All of RBK's current gear has pretty much been designed by either CCM, Koho or Jofa (the 3 parties in The Hockey Company, who Reebok bought), so should be of decent quality.
Not sure about the sticks myself though. The AHL has a deal with RBK saying that all AHL players have to use RBK, CCM or Koho sticks, and a lot of guys were complaining about the RBK 6Ks, saying they break way to easily...

What equipment are they doing? The whole lot? I want some new shorts and upper body armour ... I think they're doing the whole malarkey. Their line of protective equipment, to start with, will be essentially the Jofa line, which is pretty decent quality (I think it's something like 98% of NHLers have at least one "Jofa" logo under their jerseys...) I've seen the skates they're doing, while CCM are still making Tacks. They're doing sticks, which are currently based on the Koho composite ones. Pretty sure they're doing shorts, and they're also doing goalie gear, based on Koho's goalie stuff.

Just 'cause you might be interested, here's a link to a PDF file of the Reebok/RBK catalogue for 2005 www.modsquadhockey.com/pics/JR/2005/rbk/rbk.pdfFor reference, RBK is top-end stuff, Reebok is lower-end stuff. The website I found this on (another message board I post on) has most of the major manufacturers catalogues up, so if you wanna see the rest, let me know and I'll copy and paste the links ;D

Reebok Equipment is just the old Jofa Equipment that has been re-branded so yes it seems like quality stuff from what I have seen.
The name will help it sell though where as JOFA may not be as appealing even though it is the same stuff.
Had a look at the skates the other night and they seem far to heavy and over complicated although the sticks feel good ;D

The skates are actually designed by RBK, as far as I know. Their protective gear is Jofa, their sticks are based on Koho ones, and their goalie gear is Koho.
