Any chance that Big Snake can overtake everyone?
I'm partly responsible for him as I paid for his VIP Membership ;D

Big Snake will try his hardest to be number one...a very hard job though. And, my VIP membership has ended so cannot feed him any dragonflies.

I wouldn't like to count my chickens, but it looks good don't it?
I'll remember to bring the trophy on Sunday so you can all see.

It may not last, so I'll gloat now while my frog Boynton is top of the league! Perhaps I've found my true vocation in life. I will be available for autographs on the concourse near the entrance to blocks 4/5 in between periods this coming Saturday! Thanks to those prepared to do the admin. Come on you Panther Froggers - Jump to it!! Sorry Mr/Mrs/Miss/Ms rumpole. You fought me all the way, but I think that my frog's early max food and lucky groupings in races was the winner. Still not assured of the win, but looking forward to next year.

THIS IS IT
THE MOMENT YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR>>>>>>>>
THE RESULTS OF THE 2005-06 RACING FROGS:
(I have had to adjust seven frogs to 'finished', which had not got to the age we were marking from, as such it may appear that you are slightly lower than expected. If we had let the competiton run for another few weeks, i'm confident the results would look very much like this)
position name frog 1 STEELERSPR SIMMSY 2 PANTHERS52 BOYNTON 3 PANTHERS1980 KALMIKOV 4 STEELERS11 THE DUKE 5 STEELERS42 TAIT 6 STEELERS9 THE MESSIAH 7 STEELERS5 LENNY 8 PANTHERS20 WOOLHOUSE 9 STEELERS66 MARIO 10 STEELERROB BADGER 11 STEELERS43 MADMAXI 12 STEELERS ROCKET RON 13 STEELERS13 SUPER MIKE PERON 14 PANTHERS32 DION 15 PANTHERS01 DOG GOBBLER 16 PANTHERS27 GO JOE 17 STEELERS99 LEEDS LOYAL 18 PANTHERS1234 BIG SNAKE 19 PANTHERS30 JOHN CRAIGHEAD 20 PANTHERS88 DEARING DARLING 21 STEELERS7 SIMPSON 22 PANTHERS85 CRUICKAS 23 PANTHERS101 LOEWEN 24 STEELERS86 MINI MAXI 25 STEELERS05 LENNY 26 STEELERSO8 DUNCOMBE 27 STEELERS49 BIG JASON CLARKE 28 PANTHERS21 SEBASTIAN 29 PANTHER94 ZUKE91 30 PANTHERS77 CALLE 31 STEELERS04 TURBO TIM 32 STEELERS27 SIMPSON SIMPSON 33 STEELERS14 MARK DUTIAUME 34 PANTHERS31 TREVOR31 35 STEELERS10 LAKER 36 PANTHERANDY CAPTAINDION 37 PANTHERS34 CRUICKSHANK 38 PANTHERS5 CLARKE 39 STEELERS85 MAXWELL 40 STEELERS19 SARICH 41 PANTHERS61 DANNY 42 STEELERS23 LASER LES 43 PANTHERS89 ESCAPED CONVICT 44 PANTHER12 POCKET ROCKET NEILY
AND SO, TO THE WINNING FORUM: Taking the top 15 placed frogs, adding their positions together and dividing by 15 to give an average position, the results are as follows:
Steel Talk:191/15=12.73 The Cage:274/15=18.27
As such, Steel Talk wins.

Well there we are folks Steeltalk wins the inorgural HOSNIC cup. I am trying to arrange a presentation after the game tonight.
well done to Simmsy (the frog) who picks up the player of the year.
Just a quick word of thanks to everyone who took part. I have really enjoyed it I hope you have too.
Has it wetted your apetite for next year? I am currently researching a hockey based game for next year if you wanna go for it again. Be a shame to waste the fantastic trophys I had made for just one year. I'm sure you want revenge?
I will be letting my frog carry on till the end of the racing season how about you?
Thanx again folks see some of you tonight and hope to see you all again next year! ;D

For info.
The trophy's will be on display tonight at the merchandise stand on red concourse. This is the stand outside the away block.
Take a look and see what you could have next year. The player of the year is stunning! And you get to take it home for the year. ;D

When's the next competition ? I only got involved near the end. I am researching a new game now. I was going to run the games in-line with the season, but, as we are on a 365 days a year forum we could start as soon as the game is ready if you like. Would probably run a game for 'fun' through the off season to keep us ticking over but not to serious. And just have the actual HOSNIC comp each year to run through the season. This would also allow the winners to keep and cherish the trophies for a whole year. Bad news for the hockey game I wanted I'm afraid, it is way to involved. It is a great game, you can play HERE. It's just to much for our use. So the search goes on. If anyone knows of a game we can use please let me know!
