C - Rees
A's Simoes and Clarke
I think because Rees and Neilson may end up as partners on D and Ellis wouldn't want a C and an A on the same line all the time, although I suppose by the same token Simoes and Clarke may not be the A's.
Is it decided by a players vote?

Iwas under the impression that the team vote for who will be captain, and that it will not have anything to do with Ellis.
I`m sure someone out there will correct me if i`m wrong

I`m sure someone out there will correct me if i`m wrong I think it depends on the individual coach. Some prefer to appoint their own captain, while others put it to a players' vote (although this democratic method does seem to be more common of late). Personally, I would prefer it to be the coach's choice, especially in a league like ours where rosters are almost completely new every season and the players don't tend to be familiar with one another. The coach knows best who the leaders are and might even sign a player with the captain's role in mind.
