He's already on his 2nd...where will it all end?. Taubert, & Hussey already...who next?. Winner gets a half eaten bag of Doritos.

Lateral thinking, and there was me believing the light blue ones would be the worst option.

Doritos?. We have 'In Stock'... Cool flavour (What the chuff does COOL taste like? ), Tangy Cheese, & Red Hot Chilli flavour. I blame Labour!

They're the light blue ones. They don't taste of nowt. Them new ones in the black bag are the business, can't remember what they're called. Anyway, enough of this gay banter, back to Barbarella for me.

Doritos are fine. The real problem in the savoury snack department is Pringles. When I say Pringles, I specifficaly mean those 'Specially made for dipping' variety. Have you tried dipping those? Ya put the faintest smidge off salsa dip on them & the chuffin' things break (In a dunked biscuit falling into yer mug styleee). That gets on me baps too!. How's Barbarella doing?

Whatever happened to the 3D Doritos? I loved them and ate them by the box full. C'mon Doritos fat cats .... give us our 3Ds back I'm having to make do with the second best snack of all time ... scampi & lemon flavour nik naks ... and they're not easy to find these days either!

Barbarella was fantastic, and a rather tenuous link to Scampi & Lemon flavour Nik-Naks.

Barbecue flavour Bugles. Whatever happened to those? They were my all time favourite of all time in the savoury snack department.

Barbecue flavour Bugles. Whatever happened to those? They were my all time favourite of all time in the savoury snack department. Another good choice. This has raised a serious issue though ... what on earth has happened to all these 3 dimensional air-filled potato and cereal based snacks? I demand an inquiry ... I want questions asked at parliamentary level ... I will not let this rest ...

what on earth has happened to all these 3 dimensional air-filled potato and cereal based snacks? I demand an inquiry ... They were all eaten by monsters. Monster Munch shall rule the World!!! muuuahahahhaa, muuahahahaaaaaaahahaaaaaaa!!!! ... errr, and Space Raiders too. Especially the Salt and Vinegar ones.

Space Raiders?. Any snack that costs 10p a bag is bound to be pants. I like pickled onion Monster Munch, that's a snack for snack conoseurs(?). There lies another problem, have bags of Monster Munch got smaller, or have my hands got bigger?.

For cheaper end snacks it has to be the large bags of salt and vinegar Twists available from garages - manufactured by Spar or one of the less ostentatious supermarkets. Reasonably tasty, and large enough in quantity for any lengthy journey.
By far the ultimate drivers' tastebud tickler are the tins of Walkers chili coated salted peanuts, and although they play havoc with your steering wheel and gear stick, both of which assume a shiny orange patina whilst eating, the nature of their packaging does preclude sitting in a pile of crumbs and the necessity of having to slide forward in the seat at 90mph in order to funnel the remaining fragments out of a bag down your cakehole because your trendy car roof is too low to allow a steep enough angle of descent to be achieved without the aforementioned repositioning.
Anyone tried them Nobby's Nuts yet? They look like they might be a bit of a copy of the Walkers thang, but the bags only look to be big enough for birds and small boys. Do they do a family bag?

I see you've really thought this one through. Nobby's crisps are pretty ropey - the S&V is very strong so OK if you like that sort of thing, but the Balti and Steak ones are rum. Not tried his nuts. Is this a record for the furthest a thread has ever gone off its original topic?

Is this a record for the furthest a thread has ever gone off its original topic? Nooooooooooooooo waaaay! ;D Remember the "Matt Myers anybody?" thread in Puck Bunny Corner last summer? Now there was a thread that went seriously off topic - Matty never got a mention after page one..... and it ran to over 100 pages! Doubt we shall ever see the likes again..... but it kept some of us entertained all summer long.

Ropey Crisps?. What an weird flavour, & I thought 'Cool flavour' Doritos was strange! The freakiest Crisps had to be Shakers. These were the plain ones that came with a little blue sachet of salt. If I wanted crips with salt on, I'd buy 'em with the salt already on. I want my crisps to be a luxury, pleasureable experience, I don't want to have to put any effort in.

Gave you the opportunity to eat them without the salt though, which was a really wierd experience. Things without salt are scary - you realise you're kind of addicted to it, and that everything 'They' say about us eating too much salt is totally true.

Space Raiders?. Any snack that costs 10p a bag is bound to be pants. A common mistake. Ever tried them? (Pickled Onion are the best commonly available ones, but the S&V are great when you can find them) They only cost 10p 'cos there isn't much in the bag. So just get more bags!
