An OT win for the Racers who came from behind to grab both points. Report and pics on www.londonracers.com. Whilst our initial reaction to this may be to gloat, we need a strong Steelers side for the good of the sport. I was concerned to see the number of fans they didn't bring to our game with them last month. I know it was a Sunday, but I would have expected them to bring more support.

Having looked at Racers' match report, why oh why can't Panthers put photos in their (dull) match reports...?

.....with Halloun scoring one of Racers goals !!! Yeah I noticed that one, so I guess Panthers aren't going to get a reversal of that London game? Oh well, if they'd have played well in the first place...

Well maybe he is now playing for them again cause they have realised the error and got the correct paperwork back for him so he is now legible to play for them?

Maybe, but does that mean he was wasn't when he played against Panthers...? I don't know, I aint gonna pretend I know whats happening or ought but just suggesting a theory I guess. Maybe they passe don his papaers and stuff and so shouldn't have played against us and then as soon as all the fussed kicked off when it was raised(by bracknell or bison I believe?) they realised their mistake and got the papers back to that he was allowed to play again from then on. Who knows

Halloun has now rejoined us from Slough to cover for Ian McIntyre while he gets over his knee op.
As far as I know the situation regarding the previous game now boils down to whether it is permissible for the transfer papers to be signed on a Thursday or Friday but not take effect until the following Sunday.

so there is some ambiguity and the racers arent as white as some would have us believe eh!
As for steelers being strong for the good of the league what a total load of tosh. What they need is to eat some humble pie given their incredibly arrogant attitude built up over the years by some rather partisan marketting and some very lucky breaks.... ;D

so there is some ambiguity and the racers arent as white as some would have us believe eh! I'm saying no such thing: I haven't read the relevant rule books so I don't know. All I know is that the intention was to transfer Halloun's registration from the Sunday, and the club obviously thought that was allowed.

I see where you're coming from with this, but I believe that the competitiveness this year makes the sport better than it was a year ago when the Steelers pretty much had it sewn up by the time the turkey was cooked. As it stands at the minute only the Bison look incapable of a top four standing

Please ... don't say that.
Our whole season has been based on being the black sheep of the league. If you're going to satrt accusing us of playing fairly and abiding by the rules that would be terrible. I couldn't think of a worse insult ...
Mods ... please? We need to be slated. Don't start letting people say nice things about us. It's an outrage!!!

Chill your boots Rick - Racers have a looooong way to go to beat Steelers in that respect How can you not love the Racers in their cute Pyjama strips and with their lovable mutt mascot anyway. I hear their medical officer is quite a sweetie too
