Does anyone know for definite the face off time for Sunday, last week's programme, ceefax, www.eliteleague.co.uk and www.eiha.co.uk all have the time as 7.00pm but in the article on www.panthers.co.uk it says the face off is 5.00pm. Which is it? I have emailed the Panthers office, but as yet have had no reply.

From Panthers site.. Meanwhile on Sunday the reigning National League Champions...the FIFE FLYERS...visit Nottingham. The game at the National Ice Centre faces-off on Sunday at 5pm.So the Panthers website is definitely correct and all the other websites are definitely wrong?

Intercepted this thread to avoid making another thread for the game. (Hope you don't mind Tom?)
Face off is def. 5pm as it is a Sunday game
I'll go for a
Panthers 8 - flyers 1 scoreline
Either Ivan or clarke to score first

(Not that I could do much about if I did ) Apprantly the tickets have 5.00PM on them so it does look like that is the Face-Off time. I think it'll be closer than that but not much, say 5-2. Kalmikov to score first.

I'd say 6-2 or 7-2 Mckenna Clarke x2 Cadotte Carlsson Kalmikov Krulis (if we get 7)

I'm not one for predicting scores but I feel in BJ's absence I am best qualified to make a prediction in his name.
6 - 2 woolie gets at least a full period, Danny Scott to score first goal on home ice (just as BJ arrives in NIC)
But any win will do.

SHUT OUT for Curtis and if we run a decent score up maybe Geoff Woolhouse will be given 10 mins in goal in last period or even a full period .
Craighead to score a hat trick his line to do most of the damage to fife .

well if geoff gets some ice time, then it will be because cruickshank has let in at least 1 goal, because if he is on a shutout adey will leave him in net.

If we run a cricket score up by end of second period ( at least 6 goal in front ) I think that Geoff woolhouse will be given a go , the team owes it to this lad turning up every week to sit in Curtis's shadow , I am confident that Adey will give the nod wether Curtis has let in a goal or not . but we shall only find out if he does keep a clean sheet and we get those goals . I am sure the crowd would give Geoff a big ovation if he did come on . And I am sure with the likes of Scott ricci and Big Steve , he will be getting plenty of protection . ;D

If we play like we did last night, you'll murder us.
However, if we played like I know we can (bear in mind we've still only got 7 imports, and at least 5 of our regulars are carrying injuries of varying severity), it'll be a lot tighter.
Hope y'all enjoy the game. I won't be there, but it should be good. And even if you maul us, enjoy how awesome Kuznik is! ;D

Kummu, Smail & Robertson were always a bunch of tough cookies
