I heard someone on the forum mention that Paul COULD (repeat COULD) need an operation that would keep him out for the rest of the season. Does anyone know if this is true?(Please, no) If the worst does happen, then what do we do about long-term cover? When Tvrdon returns we will be unable to keep McKenna , and with Mad-dog seemingly stuggling with injury at the moment, we look like being down to 3 D-Men. To bring in another, or keep McKenna, would require at least one, if not two players to be released So what do we do? The alternative appears to find a British D-Man, but who? They are few and far between(those who could play at this standard, anyway) Perhaps we could get James Morgan to Dress when Phantoms aren't playing? Or do we take the risk that the Lockout will be season-long, Gas Tvrdon and keep Mac? IMHO Tvrdon is too good a player to Gas. So...........What do we do?

I think that while Mopes is out, Richard is doing a good job of deputising. The problem would be Back up players. Should early in a game a player become injured (Mad-dog) or a player be thrown ou for celebrating then Scott would be iceing. I am in no way Saying that Scott wouldn't be able to cope but what if both incidents happened and we were streched even further. I would rather have another "Bench filler" perhaps James Neil???!?

I saw Moran lastnight, he didnt seem to be limping at all. He was sat talking to someone i know for quite a while during the game, so i will see if he knows how long he's going to be out.

He seems quite good aswell. James Neil is a great player, but James Cooke is bigger, so maybe they should give him a try.

I saw Mopes talking to Tvrdon at the door way to block 15/16 last night. And as i walked past i overheard Mopes telling Tvrdon that his knee was fine to walk on but he said that when he's tried to skate it hurts when he has to turn!
That's all i know

I will have to be an away fan though - obviously! Unless it was a game v Sheffield.....trauma! ;D

At the 'signing session' after the Flyers game, I asked Mopes when he thought he'd be back....."One or two weeks, I hope" was the reply.
Fingers crossed.
