Yep, they did a feature on 'Big Mac', talked to him, Adey, GM, Cruickshank (his roomie) and a few others. Some of it in McDonalds, some at this morning's training session. A bit cheesy in places (Big Mac with cheese?!) but all good publicity for the club.
I wish they'd let us know it was going to be on though.

Yup it was EMT The cynic in me thinks that EMT have finally figured that Forest/County/Mansfield/Nothampton/Rushen & Diamonds/Chesterfield/Leicester football teams (delete as appropiate - infact delete them all!!) are no longer newsworthy as far as sport goes. Mind you EMT did let themselves down on Monday evening calling Ice Hockey 'wacky' because Panthers and Bison had back to back games with each other. Of course that knob-head who presents the sport (football is the only significant sport in the East Midlands don't you know ), forgets that back in the 60s football teams used to play back to back games against each other during the holidays. STUPID PRAT. Chris Ellis please get on EMT and do something with the sports reports!! HL

I watched it to was pretty cool and on for quite a bit they seem to have a few nicknames for him! . I liked it were McKenna and Curtis were having a laugh with each other in McDonalds . Also they dont give Panthers enough coverage on EMT as they should it needs to get sorted!

You can still watch the interview with Steve an Co if you go to the BBC/Nottingham website or the East Midlands Today page and follow the appropriate links.
It will be there until it's replaced by tomorrows edition presumably.

Cheers for that..still working at 2.30 a.m.!...good coverage. McKenna is a great addition to the team because of his personality as well as hockey talent.

when tvrdon gets back to fitness we have to cut 1 of them or another player we can't cut a brit because of the numbers. I would cut tvrdon as he has done nothing spectacular in my eyes. don't no how he was an NHL er last year. Either he is just rubbish or he is not taking the elite league seriously. any thoughts?

I think that might depend on what is actually wrong with Magdosko. It may be an idea to cut him whilst he gets whatevers wrong with him permanently fixed. Its no good having a player who only plays half a game then misses two or three. Whats more if the lock-out ends and McKenna gets an offer to play in the NHL, we won't be stuck with one player short. As for Tvrdon he was apparantly carrying an injury right from the start of the season, so I don't think we have seen the best of him yet. So I say give him a chance once hes fully fit.
