Serious drop off in numbers last year. I expect he'll be looking for that to reverse. Yeah. His numbers were definitely better before he got injured in December. He seemed to struggle a bit on his return from the games I saw. No doubt he'll come back after the summer and be a PPG player again. Just our luck

Wonder if Bowns will be back too? Had that thought too. But previous seasons Bowns has shared time with an import NM and Carruth shared time with Kozun during his last spell so I'd imagine if they want Bowns back it's not an either/or type situation

Will be interesting to see how Constable turns out. You'd imagine Moore has a good read on the current NCAA talent from his time as DHO at Princeton

Too often it's felt like it's been other teams NCAA players who have turned up and had an impact, so was nice that it was our turn this year. I meant interesting in the sense that maybe he'd be pulling in overlooked gems other teams might not have on their radar because of his firsthand knowledge. Some of the most exciting players to come into the EIHL have often come from college. And as first year pros often for reasonable wages, but with equivalent experience to others with several years as a pro

Dan bakala came out of ncaa too think he only had a handful of pro games under his belt and he was phenomenal for dundee

Francis had a couple of years of pro before us but yes those who come direct or the next season after a handful of late season games have definitely had an impact.
Recent names like Elijah Barriga, Troy Lajeunesse, Charlie Combs all arrived and had an instant impact and they're far from the only ones.

Blaze must have signed Constable to 'police' the opposition team, stop them from taking liberties. (except it usually applies to d-men, and he's not that sort of player).

Batch isnt going anywhere surely? Nor Bowns? Unlikely you'd have thought. I'd take Waller if we can prise him away: young, productive, room to grow Waller has gone back to the Flames.

That's a great piece of business for them for sure. Definitely someone you can build a team in front of. Near identical SV% to Greenfield despite facing an extra 22% more shots. I'd have been delighted I've we'd prised him away from the Storm

His numbers last season were fantastic, especially considering the quality of the D in front of him compared to Sheffield. Genuinely surprised he hasn't gone somewhere bigger.

You'd think Cardiff or Belfast would have thrown money at him. Players only move for money, right? Weninger's stats were remarkable. Second most shots per 60 in the league behind Owen, most shots faced overall by a country mile, on a team that conceded the second most shots in the whole league, and scored the least goals overall (and also least PPGs, having the worst PP in the league) but finished 4th. Compared to an "average" goalie, Weninger saved the Storm 35 goals against last year. Outstanding. Attachments:
