Penalty shots. Lunsjo hit the bar with 8 seconds left in OT.

Lost on Pens. Good effort that, not the cricket score some thought it would be

Lost. Good performance all things considered. A point vs the best team in the league on their ice.

Hate to be that guy but where was this team yesterday.
Still a good result all things considered,
Give the boys a couple of days rest now and be ready for the next game.
We can take Sheffield at home based on the last 3 games against them

Looks like under Billy Goat Gruff’s bridge will be busy and crowded tonight.

But Fife get 2 points in Cardiff. Hmmm Panthers are likely going to have to win at least 4 if not 5 of the last 7 games now to finish 8th because Dundee play Clan twice and Fife twice so unless Dundee won all four games then at least two of those three are going to get more points. Unless Coventry drop down.

I suppose it’s a good thing being very disappointed with only 1 point tonight. Once it went to penalties, I knew it was game over for us.

Good point to get tonight. Just makes the last couple of results even more frustrating. Would definitely like us to resign Otto for next season. He has certainly turned up just lately and is now into the top 10 points scorers in the league.

Nice result but gutted we couldn't get the two in the end. But after the last game and the D situation a character game I think.

I know what you mean, I think that we employed these tactics against Dundee, then I think we would have won. I got the feeling that they saw there was the back up goaltender and just went for it. Appears in Sheffield that we had some really good chances and just needed that little bit of luck. I would be trying to tempt Niemenen with a Uni Deal

Superb battling from the team tonight, really unlucky not to get the win then.
We set up and were solid at the back for the majority, the defenceman were superb in the board battles and as a team we played that the right way up and down the ice. If we would have setup this way throughout the season, then we might have had a bit more success tbh.
Steelers weren’t to their usual standard though, their aggression and usual pace wasn’t their and the amount of times they mis-controlled the puck was encouraging. We didn’t capitalise on what we did create missing two clear open nets, Welsh’s missed chance was astonishing. We were desperately unlucky in OT as well, Lunjsö found some space behind and rifled it off the bar.
Disappointed straight after the game, but looking at it now, a point is a good result

Think Sheffield may unconsciously drop their intensity against us after the AJ incident. This is not to take anything away from a good result from our players.

They weren't the team from Saturday to Saturday had to go to Scotland twice, go to Cardiff and had a home game. Now I can believe that they thought that The Panthers were going to be a push over and weren't expecting it to be to competitive

Exactly right they would have ran up the scoreline I'm convinced of it if panthers were higher up the table

Oh Iggy, you're so much more understanding of the struggles of Steelers aren't you. 🤣 What happened to... Tiredness is no excuse. One team wasn’t at home. One team travelled 8 hours on a bus. One team had three players less than the other. That team won ! If tiredness was a factor, how come the last period was Panthers best ? They just didn’t turn up ! Or does hangovers trump 3 games in 4 days? Surely not... because I could of sworn you used to love bashing the lack of success of the Panthers being due to too much time in the pub and a certain pub sponsorship. How the worm has turned...again 🤣

I called it on here 3 days before the game.👍 And it wasn’t me who said anything about a certain pub sponsorship either.
