More fool anyone for watching TikTok. Facebook, X and tiktok. Unless you leave in a bubble I trust you must of read the same nonsense. Sadly its not just 1 or 2 I wouldn’t know because I don’t waste my time with any of them. I’m only on X to get Panthers commentary updates for away games, but don’t all fanbases have fans like these? Do they just stand out for us as we’re at the bottom? I don’t think they are in the majority. Far from it I imagine

Clan had 20 SOG and scored 9. 55% save percentage. Not great reading.

Not a good night was it.. Clearly not. The point still stands that you only raise your head above the parapet when the team lose. Why even bother posting as you don’t even go to games & offer nothing to the conversations on here. What a strange way to go on. Clearly hates panthers and only ever comments when they lose. Weird!

And just like clockwork you are quick to jump on posters... 👏 Ever think why people reply to you in the manner that they do?

Bit concerning that Robinson’s departure means we will have to keep throwing Rok out there night after night, hopefully he can bounce back tomorrow and this won’t be a big confidence drainer. Perhaps we should be double checking the fine print to see if we could swing an import backup for the remainder of the season?

Far to many of our fanbase belive mediocracy is the normal.

We’re going off at a tangent to the actual reasons why we lost 9-3 today.
The ultra positive and ultra negative fans are the loudest on social media because they post the most, but there will be times when the club pushes the positives, as they rightly should, because that’s how social media works. It’s a tool for the club to use to try and grow the fanbase.
As much as some on here want to try and make out, what you see on social media isn’t a reflection of the entire fanbase.
It’s funny to think about it now, bearing in mind this forum has had a bad rep in the past, but the most balanced discussions and opinions generally occur on here I feel.

A bad day certainly. Season not over yet. By my reckoning we will need to win 11 of the remaining 16 games to get to 8th. We may do it by winning 10. Based on the fact that the teams in 6th, 7th and 8th are all roughly picking up around 50 percent of the points available so far. If this carries on they will all be around 53-55 points. If we win 11 we will be on 55 points. Hopefully one of them will have a bad run.

Must win tomorrow to try and get things back on track.

Has Lacho ever had 5 points in a game before? Biggest Lacho critic the last couple of Panthers years but have watched him a lot with Guildford and Glasgow and he’s really a different player now. He was pretty stale the last couple of years at the Panthers but he is very effective now. Makes you wonder why he went so stale in Nottingham

Makes you wonder why he went so stale in Nottingham I’m a firm believer that a player is only as good as his linemates. Even a partnership will bring the best out of a player, Lacho’s best years for us were when he was playing along side Matt Francis. When he left, they needed to put Lacho elsewhere and when it wasn’t working, he became a 4th line grinder and shutdown player. Terrific on the penalty kill, but that’s it. I’m genuinely very happy to see him having a good season at Glasgow. Same with the likes of Bruce Graham when he had his 2nd spell with us, nowhere near what he produced with Ling and Benedict. It’s also the line mate theory that makes me hope and pray they are tying down Lunsjo, Michaud and Neilson (I would assume he will be returning anyway) to new deals. To hit the ground running with guys who know each other well and connect so well would be a tremendous asset.

My problem is panthers seem to suck the talent out of players, especially the brits - the fact we had 0/1 (which ever way you look at it regarding Ollie Betteridge) in the gb squad speaks volumes. You look at the brits last season, absolutely miles off what they were. In general, panthers sign players who just drop off, which adds more to the concerns of the culture and attitude of the club which has been around a while.

To be fair the the standard of Brits throughout the league has gone through the floor. If look at the last GB squad it’s full of the old timers that have been around 10-15 years, dual nats that don’t qualify as Brits in EIHL and after that a smattering of low level newer lads, and even they are just Canadians whose Dads came and stayed over here when they played (Neilson, Shudra, Whistle). Apart from Liam Kirk nobody has come through.

In reality we would have had two players in the GB team if both Ollie and Tetlow had been fit. Agree there is a lack of good quality younger Brits. Although I do like Joe Hazledine. When it ones to players like Shudra though most are British born and learned the game hear. No different to Ben O'Conner. More a case of they learnt hockey because their Dad played. Just like a lot of good football players have sons who also turn out to be good players. Brennan Johnson being a good example.

I would go but I ain't doing the 1.5 hour 50 mile round trip only to watch the standard be totally dross (compared to what I used to see)

You know you want to… Just now, the true fans of the club are cheering them on. This team have guts a-plenty.
