Anyone brave enough to predict this one? 🤣 Surely there has to be one good result this reason…

Hopefully one or two back so we can't use an import slot on the backup. Welsh was originally a precaution, although he's now missed three. Not sure what happened to McGurty? Assume we'll not see Josh or Ollie back?

Considering how we’re playing and the string of results , all I’m asking is to make the game competitive and make a good account of ourselves.
Think Sheffield will come out hard and try get an early goal, ultimately 1 goal is all it took for the clan to open the floodgates.

We are as likely to win by an odd goal as get tonked by a bucketful.

Assume we'll not see Josh or Ollie back? Tetlow has had his cast off some time I believe. Has been seen in videos practicing so cant be to far off. Would be good to see Tetlow in the line up with Kelsall back as a forward and Welsh back. 4 full lines with 2 Brits and 10 imports. Ollie was on a social media video today in his normal clothes whilst some players were pracricing so perhaps less likely to feature.

I'm just going to dream of beating them tomorrow and start a run that sees them bottle it again. Of course it's highly unlikely, but we are still only just over half way through the league campaign with 25ish games left to play. 2 or 3 losses on the bounce with Belfast & or Cardiff winning will make it a little more interesting.

It'd be nice to finish this season with a good laugh as they completely Fox it up.
Can't really see Belfast or Cardiff going on a tear this year though, both average sides.

Would life a win just like everyone else, but even a three goal lead against anyone is not enough. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for a sneaky win and our new guy to score and set the tone. (Neck truly on the chopping block...lol)

I expect this’ll be a humiliating evening, unless Steelers take their foot off the gas, after going 5-6 up.

It is very difficult to look past anything other than a Steelers win. That’s just based on how good they are in comparison to the rest of the league this season.
I think with where we currently are as a team/club whilst hoping for a win we should savour the good moments when they come through the game whether that’s a good shift, Powerplay, a hit, a goal, a fight whatever it may be.
I would love us to score first as I think the noise will be incredible.
There is so much that the team and staff are facing currently that isn’t necessarily in the public eye & it’s not just as simple some people think it is to turn it around.

Why did we do the Pride thing last weekend, when everyone else is doing it this weekend?

And a lot of £1 tickets too in block 9 too no doubt. As there were last game.
Add to that the Saturday nighters who are taking the game in as part of a night out, Or their once a season Nottingham V Sheffield game.
Amazing how in general crowds seem visually bigger since the team returned to the ice Post AJ tragedy. Human nature is a fascinating thing is it not?
As per the game itself. Hoping for a miracle & a Panthers win. Even though tis highly unlikely. A man can hope and dream right? However slight the possibility....
And we are afterall the mighty, mighty Panthers... apparently.

Steady on, Mr Positive. You reckon we will get 1? Fully expect to lose, simply because they are the best team around at the minute. I just hope it doesn’t get embarrassing. Taking a mate tonight as the Mrs is out. He’s reckons he never sees us lose, and I have a tenner riding on this. I will happily give him a crisp tenner if we win, otherwise, easy money.

You only really get those when the place is empty (most others, but not Steelers).
